Andrew Berlanda grew up in Lyford Cay, a waterfront community in Nassau, Bahamas, spending his early years fishing, boating and being on the sea as much as possible.  Andrew spent his high school years at Lakefield College School in Ontario, Canada, and then graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Upon graduating, his love of the island life and being close to the sea brought him home to begin a career in sales and marketing.

Andrew has been a successful real estate agent for over 10 years in the Bahamas.  He also has owned and operated an extensive publishing company since 1992, publishing WHAT’S ON newspaper and Island Maps for several of the islands in conjunction with the Bahamas Ministry Of Tourism.

In 2011 Andrew began his career as a Yacht and Boat Broker in Nassau, Bahamas, creating and operating a Bahamian company – Bahamian Boat Trader, since that time. He has been highly successful brokering boats and yachts of all types and sizes in part because of his extensive experience in marketing, writing, and photography, which enables him to make the yachts he represents the most attractive to buyers.

Andrew has gained invaluable knowledge – from mechanical to design, sales to seamanship, to the pros and cons of various makes and models in his career. He is also a licensed and Bahamian registered Captain. His long career in sales & marketing combined with a strong connection to the local yachting community, make Andrew the perfect choice to represent you. He is a dedicated, full time broker that prides himself on his honest, trustworthy ethics and commitment to working for his clients in a thorough and professional manner.
