United Yacht Sales LLC was founded in 2002 by Peter Schmidt, a 40+ year marine industry and yacht brokerage veteran. Peter had a different vision that most brokerage firms at the time, one that relies on integrity, customer service, and doing the right thing for United's clients even when it's difficult. Today, United Yacht Sales is the largest independent yacht brokerage firm in the industry with 24 offices and over 250 yacht brokers worldwide. Peter's motto of “Earning Your Trust, One Boat At A Time” has led to a well-established presence in boating that continues to grow and adapt in an ever-changing environment in order to fulfill our promises to our customers.

With over 250 yacht brokers in 104 locations worldwide, United Yacht Sales has the largest network of boat buyers and sellers available in the industry. Our team has sold over $1.75 billion since opening our doors.
