Will Gross has been involved with boat sales and marine service for over 30 years.
Boating and sailing have been the top passion since an early age on Long Island’s south
Shore.
He purchased his first powerboat at in his early teens.
His boating adventures have taken many shapes and forms in the North and South east, Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean.
Upon graduating from Florida Keys Community College and the
University of Maryland, he embarked on a sales and service career.
His first business rapidly grew into a successful sales – service boat yard in the Annapolis area
with contracts with the Department of Defense and Justice.
There he enjoyed working with hundreds of new and existing clients each year.
Twenty years ago, Will decided to go back to school and get an education in Yacht Design in Maine.
“I felt I had a solid knowledge of hull and engine performance, and wanted to understand design ”
After graduation, Will worked for a period of time building military vessels in Central Florida.
This filled the some voids of vessel construction.
For the last two decades, he has been successful in selling boats and marine equipment.
Will has also enjoys teaching college courses in marine technology at local state colleges.
“Inspiring people for careers in the marine industry is very rewarding to me”.
When he is not on the water, Will enjoys making things grow, nature, cooking and travel.
He frequently gives his time and energy to local charities including animal rescues.
He looks forward in meeting new people and finding them their ultimate vessel.
