Craig grew up around yachts living aboard and cruising on an 80’ converted Coast Guard cutter. As a licensed 100 ton captain at 19 he began running both charter and private yachts as well as small commercial and marine research vessels. He has practiced marine surveying for over 20 years, consulted in many facets of yacht construction and customer relations, and acted as owner's representative in new builds both stateside and overseas. Craig enjoys sharing knowledge and yachting experiences and has trained many captains, crews, and owners on the complex marine systems they would face when acquiring a new larger yacht as well as has written over 100 large yacht system operation manuals. He has cruised extensively both power and sail around the coasts of North America in addition to Alaska, the Sea of Cortez, the Bahamas and Caribbean. Yachting has been his whole life. Craig is an elected member of the Cruising Club of America. He has a special passion for seagoing trawlers, ocean sailing, classic, and character yachts.
Craig's focus is uncompromised ethical and honest treatment of everyone always while making his clients’ entire yachting experience a pleasant and memorable series of voyages all the way from the thrill of acquisition through the joy of ownership and the happy repeat of the process with a hassle free resale.
