Delta Carbon 88 Motor Yacht Sold By United Yacht Sales

United Yacht Sales is pleased to announce the sale of 'CHREEDO', a 2020 Delta Carbon 88, that was located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The asking price for this luxury motor yacht was $5,750,000 at its time of sale as she went through one price reduction during the 343 days the vessel was listed on the market. The Delta Carbon 88 is best recognized as the Motor Boat of the Year in 2015, the year the model debuted, thanks to its high-level of performance, seaworthiness, design, and the amount of deck space on board.

The Delta Carbon 88 is the flagship model for the Scandinavian builder, who's range also includes a 60-foot open, a 54 express version, a 33 coupe, and the new T26 center-console. Its Swedish heritage is found not only in its performance capabilities, but through its interior design as well. The open space, inviting interior bathed in teak, and luxurious finishes highlight the living spaces found on board.

Delta Powerboats, the shipyard that builds the yachts for the U.S. importer Delta Carbon, has been in business since 2003 and is considered the fastest growing builder in Scandinavia. Over 600 hulls have been built and delivered by the experienced team led by senior designer Lars Modin. With capabilities of building yachts up to 100-feet, Delta Powerboats is able to offer a wide range of models to appeal to many different kinds of boaters. The Delta 54, released in 2010, was the first production boat in the industry completely made of carbon fiber. This construction feat not only greatly improved fuel efficiency, but also reduced emissions by 40%.

The flybridge on the Delta Carbon 88 (seen below) is spacious and takes full advantage of the 21-foot beam. Forward is a centerline helm station with bench seating to the left and right of the captain's seat. Joystick control, 3 multi-display touchscreen monitors in the dash, and 360-degree visibility highlight the captain's experience driving this yacht as the height at which you are controlling the vessel creates an exhilarating experience - particularly at a 30+ knot cruise.

Just aft of the upper helm seating is a U-shaped couch that faces the stern. There is room here for 6 to 8 guests along with an outdoor dining table with folding leaflets on each side. When the flybridge bimini top is down, this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy cocktails in the sunshine or dine under the stars with friends. A full wetbar with storage is just a step away making serving easy. Farthest aft on the flybridge is a large sunpad big enough for 4 guests. Stereo speakers line the structures on the flybridge as well, keeping your party going as long as you wish.

Two staircases lead up from the hydraulic swim platform to the cockpit of the Delta Carbon 88, a space that features plenty of room for movement around, as well as seating for you guests. Farthest aft on the cockpit is a very large sofa with another outdoor dining table and moveable chairs. This gives you room for up to 8 guests to surround the table and dine or enjoy socializing. The flybridge overhand covers a small wetbar along with two mooring stations on near the port and starboard side-decks. While most yachts have only one aft mooring station, Delta Carbon included one on each side, with joysticks, for easy docking under any circumstance.

Stepping inside the sliding salon doors, the interior is lavishly appointed, features large windows that allow an abundance of natural light, and the decor is opulent, but not overdone. Integrated in the salon are hand-selected woods, including select-grade teak in the galley, as well as Italian Hemes fabrics for an exceptionally inviting experience. The lighting creates the perfect mood, whether lounging in the afternoon or entertaining friends at night, in combination with the natural light omitted through the over-sized windows. There is ample seating on the twin L-shaped couches or at the formal dining table midship.
