Located for sale in Fort Lauderdale, COCO was on the market for about 4 months, selling slightly faster than other Ferretti 550's that sold within the last two years. The asking price at the time of sale was $1,999,999. Congratulations as well to Marcio Jaspan of MCA Yachts who represented the buying party in this transaction.

As the newest pre-owned Ferretti on the yacht brokerage market, COCO was also priced above the competition, which were older boats. In order to get the offer needed to sell the boat and meet the client's expectations, John turned to the United Yacht Sales support team to help advertise the boat. With a combination of digital marketing tactics from social media marketing, targeted google advertising, Yachtworld advertising, email marketing, and other proprietary methods, COCO was viewed by over 5,000 targeted people over the course of its time for sale.

Beginning aft with the swim platform, it is hydraulic which makes boarding a tender or entering the water with scuba gear a lot easier. COCO holdes a 14' AB tender with Yamaha 35HP motor which is easily access when the platform drops 3 feet under the water. When raised, the platform can double as an oceanside patio for sunbathing.

The cockpit on the Ferretti 550 (seen below) is spacious, protected by the flybridge overhead, and has a comfortable seating arrangement. Under the seats near the teak cockpit dining table is a massive storage space which could either be configured as a crew cabin, or even hold a washer and dryer. Also found on the cockpit near the teak staircase leading to the flybridge is an aft control station for easy docking. The glass doors leading to the salon open, allowing for a single main deck entertainment space.

The flybridge entertainment area (below) is both spacious and has a sociable layout. U-shaped seating surrounds a pedastal cocktail table that provides a wonderful place to sit and enjoy your company with ocean views all around. The double helm love seat has an adjustable back that allows for another backrest when sitting at the sofa. Starboard side and forward is a wetbar complete with BBQ grill, refrigeration, and a sink. The upper helm station is found portside and has offers full control of the yacht. A bimini top is found over the flybridge for shade and can easily fold down when cruising.

"The highlight of the Ferretti 550, in my opinion, is the design of the windows in the salon," continued John. "Everywhere you look there is a view of the water and plenty of natural light, making this feel more like an oceanfront condo than a boat!" Immediately upon entering the interior of the main deck, the fully-equipped galley is found starboard making it easy to serve guests on the aft deck. Portside is a large area of cabinets and countertop space. 

Forward of the falley are two seating areas, one of which is the formal dining space. With room for 6 around the dining table, it also faces directly portside where a pop-up flat scree television raises from a cabinet. Imagine being anchored in crytal clear blue water and being able to catch the game with friends from the salon.

The inside helm found forward of the dining table has almost 360 degree views of the water, allowing for complete visibility whether running or backing into a slip. Joystick controls are in both helm areas allowing for complete ease of operation and confidence when docking. The helm chair is fully adjustable and with a push of a button can move 4 ways for optimal seating for the captain. Helm electronics on board include:
