United Yacht Sales is pleased to announce the sale of Wind-@-Sea, a 2020 Sunseeker 74 Predator, by Mordy Miltz. Mordy, who is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB) and owner of Miltz Maritime, is an avid fisherman with experience winning awards in top tournaments like the Mid-Atlantic 500 and White Marlin Open. He's also no stranger to leaving the white rubber deck boots at home and selling the finest luxury motor yachts. Such is the case with Wind-@-Sea which closed this week as Mordy represented both the buying and selling party. It takes a skilled broker with professionalism and trustworthiness to represent both parties fairly and adequately, as Mordy perfectly exemplified.

Being a late-model 74-foot yacht with an asking price of just under $3.5 million, Mordy enlisted the United support team to assist him with marketing and closing Wind-@-Sea, to ensure a successful sale. A great presentation was the first step, with exceptional photography and accompanying video to best represent the Sunseeker Yacht. The United marketing team began heavily marketing the 74 Predator through our social media channels, to our massive email database, through targeted Google campaigns, homepage ads on Yachtworld, and it was featured in our monthly Hot List of best boating opportunities. On the day it sold, Wind-@-Sea had been seen by more than 20,000 potential buyers. Congrats to everyone involved in the sale!

This Sunseeker 74 Predator was not even a year old when it came on the market and had been meticulously maintained by the knowledgeable owner. The best options available from Sunseeker were included in the new build, including the MAN 1900HP engines which provided an exhilarating experience to anyone who climbed behind the helm. Less than 250 hours were on the engines at the time of sale. Notable options on Wind-@-Sea included a Yacht Controller, hydraulic swim platform, an electric cockpit sunshade, and a full suite of Simrad electronics. Having the yacht located in Fort Lauderdale made it easy to show to brokers and potential buyers.

sunroof on sunseeker 74 predator

Before getting into the living and social areas on board, we had to recognize the "cool factor" of getting a drone photo of the sunroof open while the boat is cruising at 30+ knots. What a great feature to have on an express cruiser both for enjoying the sun and looking up at the stars on overnight trips. Presentation is everything when it comes to marketing high-quality and high-priced listings.

bow sunpads on sunseeker 74

Later model luxury yachts are now doing much more with their bow decks and this 2020 74 Predator is now exception. Gone are the days when builders put a 2-person sunpad on the bow and called it a day. The Predator features a nice U-shaped seating area with a pedastal table, perfect for al fresco dining or cocktails. Speakers are hidden throughout the bow and the extra-large sunpads provide the perfect sunbathing area while at a slow cruise.

Cockpit of Sunseeker 74 Predator

The cockpit of the Sunseeker 74 Predator is the featured socializing area on the yacht. Farthest aft are a set of large sunpads adjoined to a large bench seat. On the starboard side is another L-shaped couch and a large folding dining table. Portside is a wetbar that includes a BBQ, sink, and refrigerator. All of this living space can be easily shaded as well with the electronic sunshade. Additionally, there is a cockpit station with single lever controls and thruster controls for easy handling. The all teak flooring keeps your feet from burning and looks fantastic.

salon - sunseeker 74 predator

The salon on Wind-@-Sea is simply stunning. The natural light pours in through the massive side windows, the huge windshield, and of course, the sunroof when open. The color palette is contemporary and exudes a feeling of being comfortable at home. Guests have a choice of sitting near the helm station or relaxing on the large couch parallel from the electrically hidden television. The recessed lighting in the ceiling adds to the ambiance. The galley is on the lower deck and features a Vitrifugo stand-up refrigerator/freezer, as well as wine cooler.

master stateroom - sunseeker yacht

The Sunseeker 74 features a 3-stateroom, 3-head layout with additional crew quarters. The master stateroom stretches the full 17' 8" beam of the boat with space for an island-style king berth, sitting area, vanity, and walk-in closet. The VIP suite is nearly as nice as the master featuring an island queen bed, hanging lockers, and its own makeup area. The third guest stateroom has dual single berths with an en suite head. Everyone on board Wind-@-Sea will enjoy a restful night's sleep after a long day spent in the ocean.
