Riva 110 Dolcevita Sold By United Yacht Sales

United Yacht Sales is pleased to announce the sale of a new build 2022 Riva 110 Dolcevita by professional yacht brokers Anthony Barton and Juan Morillo. Sold to a wonderful family that lives and boats in the Bahamas, the new 110 Dolcevita will be built at the Riva Yachts shipyard in La Spezia with a delivery date of Spring/Summer 2022. As with all new builds, the price was undisclosed.

The Riva 110 Dolcevita is the largest model in the flybridge model range for the Italian shipyard owned by the Ferretti group. “Riva design centers around clean, spare lines, resulting in elegant boats,” said Sergio Beretta (CEO of design) in a statement. “The 110' Dolcevita is in the spirit of Riva tradition. The lines are clean and elegant, including throughout the model’s interior, where the style was personalized to suit the owner’s requirements.” The 110 Dolcevita won the Boat International Design & Innovation Award in 2019 due to the unique styling of the yacht's exterior.

Described as a "flybridge of boundless beauty", the Riva 110 provides a breathtaking visual impact as most Riva's do. In an interview with Boat International, Giordano Pellacani, head of sales and marketing for Ferretti, described the process under which the 110 Dolcevita was born; “We interviewed many customers and found they wanted something that reminded them of smaller Rivas, with attention poured into our classic details – but on a megayacht.” Riva was careful though not to create a retro-style yacht that was too similar to the vintage Rivas. Instead the 110 Dolcevita, which translates to "Sweet Life" in English, would perfectly blend contemporary styles and technology with the traditional Riva hallmark characteristics.

Superyacht Times editor Charl van Rooy was enamored with the dark-glass windows that lined the hull and gave the 110 its mysterious demeanor from the outside. Now on the main deck he said, "Surprisingly, those same dark windows are what lend the main salon its airiness and clarity. Low furniture gives an unobstructed view to the outside from any angle in the room apart from the monster TV that sits at eye level that breaks the otherwise clean lines of the decor.
