After a 6 month search over 3 years ago, James and I found the 57' McKinna 1999 was the vessel that checked most of the boxes. McKinna is an American company, based out of San Diego, and builds a very high quality yacht. She's heavier and more seaworthy than a Sea Ray, so you're not always awaiting ideal weather...and way better engineered than an Azimut, so you don't spend a fortune moving components to fix components. In preparation for extended trips to the Bahamas and Caribbean, James (a 747 pilot) spent the last 3 years tweaking all systems. He installed redundant systems and has spare parts to prevent and remedy issues that would stop most voyages. The galley is a tad small and the teak is ready to remove or replace, but otherwise she is truly tun-key. Recent survey available upon request.
