Boarding Nine Lives is easy via port or starboard swim steps or gated amidship access. From the swim steps, a few steps lead to the main and aft decks. The foredeck is accessible via port and starboard walkways, while the pilothouse can be entered through side or aft doors. Inside, the helm and captains chair are positioned port forward, with the navigators chair to starboard.
