Stepping down the companionway, Windigo has a traditional layout with port and starboard settees in the main cabin forward of the galley which extends full-width of the cabin. The unique companionway ladder folds up with a scissor action  to provide additional space for the chef, yet it stays attached for easy redeployment. The Ultrasuede upholstery is new and has a light attractive neutral color. The starboard settee converts to a slide-out double.

Forward of the main cabin is the head/shower which is full width, encompassing a split arrangement using both the port and starboard sides to provide a comfortable space to relax while taking care of daily business and hygiene. An upholstered seating area is provided here.

Forward is the V-Berth which has a filler cushion to make the berth a double. An overhead  fold-down TV is included. Storage is found both port and starboard. At the foot of the V-Berth is access to the anchor chain locker.

The galley offers hidden surprises behind sliding locker cabinet doors and drawers. This provides a clean uncluttered appearance with drawers and cabinets closed. The cooktop slides out and the convection oven and microwave have a sliding front. An always-ready coffee pot resides in a cabinet on the starboard side along with all the plates and glasses in a perfectly secure arrangement. A front loading refrigerator and a top loading freezer are found portside. Both are well-insulated.

Windigo has wide side decks that make movement around the deck effortless. Tall custom bronze stanchions have double stainless steel lifelines for security. Both the stern rail and the bow pulpit are custom-fitted bronze. The overall sense of the deck view is a breathtaking combination of gleaming varnished deck hatches, coamings,  and cabinhouse sides, all matched to deck hardware, portlights, pulpits, stanchions, and Harken winches (2-46ST,2-53ST) that are solid bronze. There is a feeling of strength here. No nonsense, beautiful ruggedness.

Windigo's Selden spars are all  new. Her double-spreader main mast, mizzen mast, and booms are painted bright white. There are running backstays for the mainmast as well as an adjustable triatic backstay. The staysail rig is self-tending with a hank-on staysail. The headsail is installed on a Harken Roller Furler. The standing and running rigging are brand new. A spinnaker pole is mounted on a track on the mast.

Windigo was built in 1938 of 2" thick oak planks. The 52 rib system is spaced at approximately nine and thirteen sixteenth inch spacing. The fasteners are silicon bronze screws and staples. The stem and keelson are oak. In 1991 Windigo was put in an enclosed shed and the hull was covered in West System epoxy saturated wood veneers to provide water tight integrity and a beautifully faired and painted hull. The deck superstructure and toe rail are made up of mahogany, oak, cherry, pine, and ebony. The house sides are mahogany over a composite of fiberglass over marine plywood. The decks are also a composite of fiberglass and marine plywood.

One plow-style Bruce anchor on deck with 250' of 3/8" G4 Chain. In the second locker is approximately 220' of rode with 40' of chain ready to be connected to an anchor. With the ground tackle system is a bronze bow-mounted vertical Maxwell Electric windlass.
