"One large water tank was removed to create a large pantry under the settee/pilot berth. All the other water tanks have been replaced with polyethylene tanks. The problem had been off-taste and rust in the old stainless tanks. At present, the boat is set up to hold about 160 gallons of water and 90 gallons of diesel (in an iron tank), which for the present owner is perfect for cruising in the states. For long distance voyaging (with a watermaker), he would prefer less water and more diesel. So he had one of the new tanks (about 60 gallons) made so that it can be converted from water to diesel (all of the diesel connectors are in place and capped off)." ~ Previous owners
