Blue Barnacle is a 2000 37' Great Harbour GH37 trawler. She offers twin Yanmar 56 HP main engines, Kohler 13.5 kW generator, fuel polishing system, oil change system, dripless shaft seals, two 3,000 watt inverters, bow thruster, satellite TV system and a raised pilothouse design. Blue Barnacle is Great Loop capable.
Specifications
From the fiberglass swimplatform, you enter the hardtop covered aftdeck via the port boarding gate. On the aftdeck, you will find lazarette access, a boarding gate on each side and double doors to the salon. Once inside the salon, you will find a sofa on each side, stairs to the pilothouse and to the guest companionway forward and engine room access. Walk forward and step down to find the galley to port and guest stateroom/office/work shop to starboard with an ensuite head and enclosed shower. Walk forward into the master stateroom and find an island queen size berth and ensuite head with an enclosed shower. Engine room access is via a salon sole hatch.
The headroom in the salon is 7', 6'5" in the pilothouse, 6'10" in the guest stateroom/office/work shop, 6'8" in the guest shower, 7' in the galley, 7' in the master stateroom and 6'7" in the master stateroom shower. The master stateroom berth is 6'9" long, the guest stateroom single berth or over/under berths, if converted, would be 6'6" long. the pilothouse offers a single size berth aft and the settee converts into a double size berth and the berths are 6'5" long.
The height from the waterline to the top of the antennas is 26' 4" and only 15'6" with the mast and antennas lowered.
Blue Barnacle offers a master stateroom forward with an island queen size berth and ensuite head with enclosed shower. There is also a guest stateroom to starboard that is presently being used as an office/work shop. It could be converted to a single or over/under berths and has an ensuite head with an enclosed shower. The pilothouse offers a single size berth aft and the settee converts into a double size berth.
The salon offers a sofa on each side, a fold-down Sony flat screen TV on the starboard side, reading lights, double doors aft with curtains and a screen, opening side and aft windows with blinds, teak & holly sole, ceiling fan, counter and pass-thru window to the galley, stairs forward to the pilothouse and guest companionway, storage under the stairs and engine room access.
The galley is port forward of the salon.
Dining space is available at the pilothouse and aftdeck tables.
The master stateroom is forward and offers an island queen size berth, reading lights, nightstands, storage drawers and cabinets, 4 hanging lockers, 4 portlights, overhead hatch with an Oceanair screen/shade, teak & holly sole, sink with granite countertop, LG flat screen TV, anchor chain locker access and an ensuite head with shower stall.
The starboard guest stateroom is presently serving as an office and work room with a fold-down work bench/desk, portlight, overhead hatch with a screen, shelves, storage cabinets and drawer, pantry, teak & holly sole and an ensuite head with a shower stall. It could be converted into a single berth or over/under berths.
The raised pilothouse offers an opening center window, fans, side deck access doors with screens, teak & holly sole, opening side and aft windows with screens and blinds, wrap-around seating with storage and a hi/lo folding table that converts into a double size berth, single size berth aft of the seating, Midea mini-freezer, reading light, storage drawers, electronic engine controls, anchor windlass control, bow thruster control, Springfield helmseat and storage under the helm.
The large sundeck aft of the pilothouse offers a non-skid deck, hinged mast, storage lockers, stainless steel rails with netting, tender storage, tender davit and the satellite TV system dome on a mast.
The aftdeck offers a hardtop, bound carpet over a non-skid deck, storage cabinet, table and 2 chairs, EZ2CY enclosure, boarding gate on each side, sun shade, rod storage, double doors to the salon and lazarette access.
