2020 Grady-White 370 Express
Grady-White boats was purchased in 1968 by entrepreneur, Eddie Smith, from the founders, Glen Grady and Don White, at a time boat construction was transitioning from the traditional coastal North Carolina handcrafted wooden boats to the new fiberglass construction processes. Eddie Smith and team developed Grady-White into the much awarded highly successful company it is to this day. Over the years Grady-White has been recognized and awarded for its numerous innovations and its excellent customer service.
The Grady-White 370 Express Cabin features a number of patented, trademarked, or exclusive features that set her apart from all others in her class. Top of the list is the much-awarded 100% hand-laid SeaV2 hull designed exclusively for Grady-White by renowned C. Raymond Hunt Associates, the originator of the the modified Vee hull. There are no two places on the keel where the deadrise, which is 20-degrees at the transom, is the same, as it continuously sharpens from transom to bow stem. The two major benefits are a softer ride at sea with the deeper Vee forward and stability at rest and when trolling with a flatter transom combined with the hull’s wide chines. Another benefit of the variable deadrise is the hull’s tremendous tracking ability in quartering or following seas. The SeaV2 hull’s performance is incomparable!
Another major innovation is the trademarked AirView2/AV2™ hardtop enclosure with a painted aluminum frame, electronic slide-open sunroof with screen and shade, LED spreader lights, outrigger plates, 4 side-mounted rod holders, SureShade(R) electronic retractable shade that extends from the hardtop over the cockpit area, Clear2Sea™ side curtains and drop curtains for a comfortable, air-conditioned helm deck and lounge area out of the elements.
