Morning Prayer 43' DeFever 43 Trawler 1979

Morning Prayer is a 1979 DeFever 43 Trawler with a long list of upgrades since 2020, recently completed the Great Loop, a veteran of cruising the East Coast and Bahamas, and is currently cruising down the East Coast, headed towards Florida for the Winter. In addition to her spacious varnished teak interior, Morning Prayer features a Two Stateroom, Two Head layout, a walk-in Engine Room with a Central Sea-Chest, into which all raw-water intakes source their water; thereby eliminating the need for problematic through-hulls with up to 12 sea-cocks scattered throughout the hull of most vessels this size. If you are looking for a Turn-Key 43ft. Trawler with lots of upgrades for under $80,000, look no further. Morning Prayer has had the best of mechanical preventive care in the last 5 years in use as a liveaboard cruiser. She still has a few projects and upgrades that need to be completed such as refurbishing of several areas of Teak Parquet flooring in the Master Stateroom, some additional electronics such as a MFD Chart plotter with Radar since the current owner uses his IPAD with chart plotting software. Some varnished teak woodwork around door frames and high wear areas could use a fresh coat of varnish, but there are no unsightly cabinetry stains or rot, so these minor cosmetic efforts will result in a vessel that looks as good as she runs. The Seller has a Boston Whaler Tender with an outboard that is not included with the sale of the vessel but available separately for sale.
