General Features and Description:
Designed on a semi-displacement hull, the Beneteau Swift Trawler 44 (Built from 2011 to 2020) in one of the most popular fast trawler in the world, with over 300 units built. She followed the Swift Trawler 42 (Built from 2007 to 2010). The key is to build a strong yet not very heavy hull, capable of handling heavy seas (CE Certification "Category B", includes boats operating offshore with winds to 40 knots and significant seas to 13 feet). She can easily cruise at 18-20 knots (Top speed 25 knots), for around 340 NM of range, or slow it down to 8-9 knots for "slow cruise" speed, giving you about 2NM/Gal, or well over 600 NM of range. She runs on twin 300 HP Volvo Penta with straight shafts and comes standard with bow and stern thrusters.
Key exterior design features include an asymmetrical deck that creates a wide walkway to Starboard, with a lower helm that has a door also to Starboard, and an opening gate to access the dock easily when docking (With still around a foot wide walkway to Port). There is a very large cockpit aft with an overhanging roof, easy access to the foredeck with tall handrails, and a flybridge that houses a mast with davit systems to haul a large tender, a large double settee with table, and the upper helm.
Cockpit:
The Aft Cockpit can be accessed from the swim platform, up on step, or from the port or starboard side decks. There is a full roof overhang from the flybridge above, and the space can be easily enclosed if desired. There is an L-Shaped Settee to port with pads and storage underneath (The settee is removable). There is Teak flooring, overhead lights, and two outdoor speakers. Finally, there are two very large lazarette hatches to access to large amount of storage, and systems.

General Features and Description:
Salon:
The salon can be entered by glass sliding doors from the cockpit, or by the starboard side door by the helm station. There is a couch to Starboard that can sit 4-5 guests, a low stool, and a wood table that can be opened up that isn't fixed. To Port is the shelving, electrical panel, and a TV. To port and starboard are large windows that can be slid open wide. The whole space is very bright and airy, but shades can be drawn for privacy or when converting the couch into a sleeper.
Galley:
The galley is past the salon, to port, across from helm station. It's a U-shaped galley, with an opening window, with refrigerator AC/DC across under the helm seat. Flooring is engineered wood flooring.
Lower Helm Station:
The lower helm station is located to Starboard, a bit forward of midship, with a clear view, unobstructed, almost 180 degrees from left to right, from vertical windows that don't attract glare and are protected by an overhang. Looking when docking is very easy, either from the salon opening doors or by stepping outside the pocket door that is right by the helm. This boat is designed to very easily dock from down below. As such, there is an about 15 inches-wide side deck to step out unto and a pocket door directly across to step off the boat and unto the dock. This vessel is designed with an asymmetrical deck so that it's best to dock from the starboard side, whether bow or stern in.
At the helm is a full array of electronics and controls, and there is a lovely bench seat for two in beige ultra-leather, with a bolster and even a platform that can be lowered to give shorter people a better view. It's a very comfortable, practical, and well-thought-out helm.
Guest/Day Head:
Located down two steps from the Galley/Salon area to Port, this Guest/Day Head is across from the Guest Cabin. This is a nicely designed head, with a white engineered stone counter and molded sink, stainless steel faucet, and separate shower head, backlit mirror, and heating.
Draw a curtain across the sink to take a shower. There is a nice Teak grate floor with a drain underneath.
Guest Cabin:

Master Head:
The Master Head is located en-suite of the Master Cabin, to Port. Open the wood door to step in front of the vanity with mirror and a beautiful white counter and molded sink.
