Azimut 70 Sea-Jet MY

According to Azimut Sea-Jet owners’ comments on an Internet forum, who have owned and enjoyed their Sea-Jet 70 for many years cruising the Great Lakes, Bahamas, Florida, East Coast and elsewhere, “The Sea-Jet 70 is a great seaworthy yacht,” “feels bigger than she actually is,” “best yacht I’ve owned so far…cruises and feels like a much larger yacht,” “extremely seaworthy,” and “easy to drive even in a small marina.” Not only does the Sea-Jet 70 handle well but performs well offshore. With 4 beautifully appointed en-suite cabins plus crew cabin with head and a stern garage, NUEVA OLA is ideal for extended cruises. Her well-designed curvilinear interior provides comfortable spacious accommodations for 8 guests.

The exquisitely finished cherry wood joinery and trim contrasts with cream-colored walls, ceilings, curved settees, granite counters, marble floors, and architectural details that combine to create superyacht elegance and luxury. Enter the salon, with its stunningly dramatic oval tray ceilings echoing the flowing curves of the creamy leather settees across from each other, through double sliding glass doors from the covered cockpit/aft deck. NUEVA OLA’s gorgeous tray ceilings are also a feature of the midships, full-beam master stateroom that has a private entrance from the salon and deluxe head with spa-style shower, along with the forward VIP stateroom with centerline queen berth. The fully equipped galley with curved bar features a side door that allows crew to easily access the starboard side deck for provisioning galley and serving fore and aft deck areas. NUEVA OLA also features a stacked washer and dryer and a built-in wine chiller on the forward accommodations level companionway.

The yacht exterior designed by the legendary Stefan Righini, is optimized for entertaining and relaxing, with bow sun pad lounges and hardtop shaded flybridge with jacuzzi, seating and lounging for 8 or more, BBQ grill station with refrigerator and sink, and a plexiglass hatch next to the helm to the floating staircase down to the main deck salon. A large 6ft teak table along the built-in transom bench seat of the cockpit/aft deck is covered and lighted by the bridge’s aft overhang and is convenient to the bar with icemaker in the aft corner of the salon. Dual sets of steps, port and starboard, lead down to the swim platform and stern garage with hydraulically lifting door to access the water toys and other gear. NUEVA OLA is ideal for coastal and islands cruising, and she has a great layout and amenities for charter cruises.

When first introduced in 1996 the Azimut Sea Jet 70 set new standards in this size category. It was a very well received yacht and its not hard to see why. The layout features 4 guest cabins each with its own en-suite head and shower. Plus the layout provides for a full beam aft private master! Up forward in bow area is an access to the separate crew quarters that is used only for storage now. Many appreciate the exquisite wall to wall high gloss cherry wood and the abundant marble flooring.

The Sea Jet was designed to carry a large Jet Ski or small yacht tender in a stern accessed "garage" in the center of the transom. It features a large hinged door that opens the garage area up for storage of either item.

This is one of the more popular 4 stateroom + crew designs with en-suite heads and showers layouts on market today. There's a VIP, and two twin bed guest staterooms forward, all with private heads with showers. The master, has a separate stairway down from the salon, aft. The cal-deck, salon, galley and dinette are all on one level, the main deck.
