2017 Azimut Atlantis 43, BLISS

Azimut’s snazzy Atlantis 43 sportcruiser was a collaboration between the Azimut design team and Italy’s Neo Design Studio, founded in 2009 by Filippo Salvetti and Marco Biaggi, who were responsible for the Atlantis series between 2009 and 2019. She is great example of Italian design and craftsmanship, an excellent combination of versatility and functional luxury, performance, and engineering. The Italian outdoor lifestyle is evident in the four comfortable exterior lounging areas on the Atlantis 43—the aft 3-person sunpad lounge over the transom garage, another 3-person sunpad on the foredeck, wide chaise-lounge seat on portside opposite the helm, and seating that wraps around a table on starboard side for al fresco dining and cocktails. A wet bar/grill station with fridge is opposite on portside. The entire helm deck area is beneath a retractable sunroof for a complete open-air feeling.

Designed to maximize interior space, the Atlantis 43 features a 2 stateroom/2 head layout with fully functional galley and a dinette that converts to a 2-person berth. The master is forward with centerline queen berth and ensuite with separate shower. The aft midships guest stateroom features two athwartships single berths that can combine to a double and a third single berth on portside. The guest head with separate shower is also a day head. Stylishly elegant with light wood joinery and fabrics, and plenty of natural light from long horizontal hullside windows, and forward hatch, BLISS also features plenty of storage spaces in the form of cabinetry, lockers, in-deck stowage and beneath furniture. Stern garage is capable of stowing a tender up to 6’9” along with a small outboard. Hydraulic swim platform makes it easy to launch/retrieve, or wide teak platform can hold a larger tender.

Performance and handling are excellent with the efficient twin Volvo Penta D6-IPS 400hp diesels paired with pod drives, joystick and bow thruster for ultimate maneuverability in tight spaces and docking. The Azimut Atlantis 43 has a CE certification class (B) for navigating up to 200 miles offshore. BLISS’s 3’7” draft and express design make her a great choice for cruising the islands, coastal cruising, and for America’s Great Loop!
