A Nice Lift Kept 30 Mainship Pilot. The boat is fully equipped and has everything you need, however if going on longer excursions an auto pilot would be a nice addition.
The boat has been owned by the same owner since 2015. He is the second owner. Boat was originally kept in Oklahoma and transferred to the east coast where purchased in 2015. While the boat has been lift kept for a number of years the seller did have the bottom sand blasted, barrier coated, bottom painted, lightly sanded and bottom painted again in 2023... there should be no issues there.
A list of other maintenance will be included in the full or additional specs pending the format you are using.

The 30 Mainship Pilot is an excellent entry level boat going into the Downeastern class. While many people who own expensive Downeast boats may turn their nose at Mainship's, there is no denying that they are of similar design and style. They are very practical, easy to maintain and while they costs tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands less than there expensive Downeast cousins..... They hold their value just as well, and if you maintain them properly you will get a decade or more of great use out of them. (Just the previous two owners have done with this one)
Practical, versatile, easy to maintain, fuel efficient, and they hold their value as well as any other boats on the market.. That sums the 30 Mainship Pilot in a nutshell. come check this one out, see if it is the right fit for you. If not I'll find you something else...

Mainship got it right with the 30 Pilot, a Down East-style cruiser whose practical layout and affordable price catapulted her into the ranks of classic small-boat designs. Built on a solid fiberglass, semi-displacement hull with a prop-protecting skeg, the Pilot is suited to a variety of uses. A large cockpit makes her a competent fish or dive platform, and her economical operation and comfortable accommodations appeal to weekend cruisers. Don’t look for a lot of glitz in the Pilot—this is a basic boat with modest amenities and average workmanship. The cabin was originally arranged with a V-berth/dinette forward, a good-sized head, and a teak-and-holly cabin sole. In 2003, the updated Series II Pilot featured a cherry interior and a revised cabin layout with a V-berth that folds in half when not in use. (The Series II also incorporates a shortened keel, propeller tunnel, and a five-blade prop.) Early models with a single 170hp Yanmar diesel will cruise at 14 knots (16–17 knots top), and those with a 230hp Yanmar cruise at 16 knots (19–20 knots top). Series II models with a 315hp Yanmar cruise at 17–18 knots (low 20s top)
The Mainship Pilot 30 is at home on the Chesapeake as well as in the Bahamas or the San Juan Islands. The full protection of the sand shoe design allows for beaching and running in shallow water. The full keel provides excellent stability in a beam sea while allowing the boat to track like it was on rails. The classic down-east look is enhanced by the sturdy low-maintenance aluminum bow and safety rails. Whether the purpose is to fish, dive or cruise, this Pilot 30 can fit the bill. The elongated cockpit allows for plenty of anglers, and the wide covering boards will accept a battalion of rod holders. A freshwater washdown and optional swim platform with a ladder will please the divers. The bridgedeck settees will double as extra bunks for the overflow of family and friends or as just a great place to tune up a tan. In the cabin, large V-berths double as a dinette and the mid-seats provide a great place to relax with a good book. The teak trimmed galley comes complete with a two-burner range, a refrigerator, a sink and even an icebox. Storage is plentiful, while light and ventilation is provided by six screened portlights and an overhead hatch. The large head boasts a Corian counter, an electric toilet and an integral shower, plus dry storage and a mirror. The single diesel will propel the Pilot 30 at a pleasant turn of speed while providing a truly economical rate of consumption. The wood-free exterior needs only soap and water and some waxing to maintain the sheen of the premium MaxGuard gelcoat. The Pilot 30 is ergonomically designed to give the captain an excellent vantage point to observe surroundings and to pilot in safety. The tilt-out helm station offers plenty of space to accept all kinds of electronics (including an optional bow-thruster keypad). Sliding helm and companion seats make the cruising even more comfortable.
