PRICED TO SELL IS THIS IMMACULATELY MAINTAINED Hylas M44
The Hylas M44 Hayden is in immaculate condition and is awaiting her new home.Considered “Best in Class”, the Hylas M44 is a unique offering with amazing pedigree.
Designed in New Zealand by Salthouse Marine, one of the most famous design and manufacturing facilities in all of New Zealand, the production of these incredibly sea kindly yachts happened at Hylas Yachts. Hylas has built over 500 vessels and has a global presence in yachting utilizing only the best design offices like Salthouse, Frers and Sparkman & Stephens to name just a few.
Why is the M44 best in class?
Her hull shape, easy reliable power, and modern construction lead to an incredibly safe and smooth ride. With a top speed of 27 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots, the M44 fuel consumption is “boat speed”, or 20 gallons per hour at 20 knots. No chine slap when at anchor and a superior hull shape when punching through waves and chop she performs as good or better than any other boat in her size range. With her center skeg her props are well protected from damage and makes her and ideal boat to explore shallower waters.
Hayden has low engine hours and has been meticulously maintained by Hall of Fame sailor Ken Read. She can be seen at short notice at Webster Marine in Bristol RI and can be launched quickly for survey and sea trial.
Hayden is best in class. She has a custom modified roof line and lots of simple additions that make her a phenomenal coastal cruiser for a couple or family. Lighter and far less complex than a Sabre with low hour twin Yanmar diesel reliability vs a single engine Back Cove. Paddle boards are part of the package along with roof storage and a simple dinghy davit system on the transom.
Hayden is a remarkable cruiser, with a new reduced price she is awaiting her new home-- with plenty of summer left in the Northeast now is the time to come see this exceptional yacht.
