2002 Hinckley Talaria 44 FB
ORCA features the classic, elegant Picnic Boat™ lines and “Downeast” styling originally penned for Hinckley by noted Maine yacht designer, Bruce King in 1994. King believed aesthetic beauty is timeless, adding enduring value beyond the boat’s function and technological advances. This philosophy is inherent in the Talaria 44 Flybridge with its signature elegant sheerline, tumblehome and rounded transom, sublime fit and finish, and traditional striped seat cushions.
ORCA’s elegant retro looks are perfectly combined with modern technology; her proven Hamilton 321 waterjet propulsion is durable, maneuverable, and easy to operate. Other benefits include a shallow draft allowing her to beach, and safety for swimmers and marine animals (no exposed sharp spinning props)! Hull construction of resin-infused Kevlar, E-glass and carbon fiber provides lightweight strength and durability, and a dry, comfortable ride. Hinckley’s proprietary Jetstick® controls make docking a snap; push a button to disengage the wheel, move the Jetstick® sideways and the computer determines the proportion of bow thruster and jets needed to nudge the boat sideways, while speed is controlled by pressure on the JetStick®. What could be easier or more enjoyable?
