"No Regrets"

Updated Photos 2/2023

Powered by twin Caterpillar 3208 TA's

The Chris Craft 427 Catalina "No Regrets" is incredibly spacious that's set up perfectly as a live-aboard or floating condo between destinations and extended cruising. With an incredibly wide beam with 14?9" beam and the double stateroom layout is ideal with walk-around queen beds in each and en-suite heads. The main salon/galley area is set up for entertaining with a full-size fridge and dinette. Topside is whole additional living space with the covered aft deck and spacious bridge deck. The hull design & stable platform precede her reputation as a with her modified V hull and ultra-reliable twin diesel Caterpillar 3208 TA's engines. "NO Regrets" is in great shape and ready for her new owners.

"No Regrets" is a two-owner boat with her current owners having owned and cruised her extensively since 2000. During their 21'sh years of ownership, she cruised extensively through the coastal waters of Florida. She would routinely be found for months at a time in Jacksonville, The Florida Keys, Marco Island or somewhere in the greater Tampabay Area exercising her legs, leading cruising clubs for some of the Greater bay area yacht Club, cruising clubs.

This Chris Craft 427 Catalina will tell her story with very descriptive maintenance/ running log books that tells a story worthy of any seafaring vessel with a nautical history to boot.

She has recently undergone an extensive evaluation & maintenance inspection by highly regarded local Diesel Marine Mechanic.  Recommendations and service was completed.

6/30/2022 she was delivered to Sailor's Wharf and is having her bottom inspected & painted. **Photos to come.

The Chris Craft 427 Catalina Double Cabin is a safe and strong family yacht. The Catalina is also a traditional yacht: wide beamed and seakindly, with enough room for the whole clan to cruise comfortably. The Catalina line features the use of finished red oak on all interior surfaces.

Chris-Craft Catalina History:

The Chris 425/426/427 Catalina began life in 1971 as the Uniflite 42 Double Cabin. She turned out to be one of Uniflite?s most popular boats and earned a reputation for sturdy construction and a practical, well-arranged interior. In 1984, Uniflite ceased operations when the company went bankrupt. Chris Craft bought the molds (as well as the old Uniflite production facility in Bellingham, WA) and resumed production of this model the following year, calling her the Chris 425 Catalina Double Cabin. While she looked exactly like the old Uniflite from the outside, the Catalina had a fresh interior layout with walkaround queen berths fore and aft?something the Uniflite 42 never had during her production years. The 425 designation lasted only a year; in 1986 she was called the 426 Catalina and benefited from a restyled and enlarged flybridge. The 427 designation came in 1987 and there were no further updates of significance. With standard 350hp Crusader gas engines, the cruising speed of the Catalina is 17?18 knots (mid 20s wide open). Optional 375hp Cat diesels cruise at 21?22 knots and reach a top speed in the mid 20s.
