The Mag Bay 33’s electrical system layout is one of the best we’ve ever seen. And the vessel is wired to perfection by master marine electricians. Each wire is heat-shrunk, and clearly labeled with fuses and terminal blocks displayed in as an art form. In fact all the wires will be found neatly wound and stowed away. The lazarrette and mechanical spaces on a Mag Bay are roomy and laid out. Her hose clamps are fit with "clamp aids", and the lazarrette floor is fitted with non-skid and glimmering gelcoat to make cleaning easier. You’ll see how their attention to detail continues by their glassing and gelcoating every joint aboard. They go the extra mile not commonly found on others in the same class. The final product of a boat that has details all in place is special —and that, a Mag Bay is.
An interesting protocol is how the rigging and wiring is finished after the boat is built which ensures the runs are easy to get to for future rigging. This extra work at the factory, gives a better finale to the customers who decide to join the Mag Bay family. Built to or above all NMMA/ABYC standards, the Mag Bay product is a sight to see with all the extra time and effort put into each boat.
The Mag Bay product will turn heads time and time again — making a name as the talk of the dock. With the perfect combination of a Carolina flare along with tumblehome and sharp modern lines, the Mag Bay stands tall in every way. With standard Mercury outboards with Yamaha outboard options or other preferred power, the 33 is ready to take you anywhere. Inquiries for other power options are always welcome. Top it off with four group-31 batteries to power up all your electronics, engines and latest in accessories.
For safety, your Mag Bay 33 is equipped with two 2000 GPH bilge pumps in the aft bilge and a 900 GPH bilge beneath the console. She also offers high water alarms (there’s a red buzzing switch on the dash), to notify the captain of anything to be concerned about while cruising. A few more notable pluses are her waterproof connectors and the whole boat’s wiring specs being oversized ensuring voltage continuity and staying power. And another standard feature is are it’s fire extinguishers.
Have a look at her spectacular ‘Michael Peters’ patented “SVVT” hull design. Expect a ride that is efficient, exceptionally dry, and steady in any ocean conditions. You won’t find any bow rise either but only a fast plane and super speedy top-end speeds all thanks to it’s hull design.
The debut of the Mag 42 took place at this past year’s Fort Lauderdale Boat Show (2019) where heads were turning at the many options to choose from when customizing yours. Pick from: Stern —either open, hardtop, quarter open, or quarter hard top. Then there is the Bow: quarter hard top or quarter open. Also available is the water side profile I or II and finally the 42: open top or the side profile I or II.
Should you be curious as to who the founders of this fine company are, we can attest that the creators of Mag Bay come from an impressively long history of boat manufacturing achievement. As co-founders of Cabo Yachts, quality and customer care were part of family tradition. Established in 2015 by Mike Howarth and his son, Barrett, who helped create Cabo Yachts, Mag Bay’s roots run deep and it’s product solid!
