Emilie’s first memory on a boat was travelling to the Bahamas enjoying the company of great family friends. Now her time on the water is spent either cruising to the Stuart sandbar or hanging out with friends in Jupiter hopping from sandbar to The Grouper after a long day in the sun.
Emilie graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Hospitality Management. Before graduating, Emilie lived in Montana for a year to complete an internship at Triple Creek Ranch in Darby. Triple Creek Ranch is ranked one of the “Best Hotels in the USA” and “#1 Hotel In the World” by Travel + Leisure. During her time at Triple Creek, Emilie learned the valuable fundamentals of managing an all-inclusive hotel.
When she returned to Florida and graduated, Emilie decided to travel to France where her father’s family lives. She spent a couple months with her father visiting family, exploring the Mediterranean coast, traveling to Spain and Italy, and immersing herself in the culture and the environment of some of the most incredible countries in Europe. One of her favorite memories was in Leucate. Fresh oysters and clams come straight off the boat and onto your plate. Sitting down to a nice glass of wine with fresh seafood served by the actual fisherman who caught them and the oyster still beating! This time was a realization to take in all things, big and small, and to truly appreciate every moment.
Upon returning to Florida, Emilie was offered and accepted a position with United Yacht Sales as an assistant to the Marketing/Boat Show Director. Presently, Emilie is Broker Liaison, supporting the company brokers with boat show coordination, contracts, marketing, research, technical support, and everything in between. Emilie is proudly there for UYS Brokers every step of the way!
