Yes—born in Murtosa, Portugal on July 9, 1933, Jack Henriques developed a strong passion for building boats after working much with his dad in this.  Jack was married in 1959 to the love of his life and they immigrated to the US - which he loved and dreamt of having much success in.

His dream of success was becoming a reality as his very own boat manufacturing company, specializing in quality semi-custom sportfishing boats, was born. The Henriques’ name was budding as his daughters and son-n-law dug into join the team. It’s sturdy hull design’s reputation today is to be able to withstand the roughest ocean voyages. With our deepest sympathies to the family, we are saddened to mention Jack’s passing this past December. He will be sorely missed but his name shall ‘sail on’ sea to shining sea.
