Description of this SWEET WATER 55' Viking 55 Convertible 2000
This 2000 Viking 55 Convertible stands apart from her peers thanks to a pair of upgraded MAN 1350CR diesel engines installed in 2008 and extensive recent mechanical investment. The MANs received complete major overhauls approximately 170 hours ago, complemented by running gear tuning and related performance upgrades representing approximately $465,000 in documented expenditures. The result is a proven Viking tournament platform offering the benefits of substantially newer power and driveline components while retaining the legendary ride, seakeeping ability, and fishability that made the 55 Convertible one of Viking's most successful models.
The spacious three-stateroom, two-head layout provides comfortable accommodations for owners and guests, while the expansive salon, galley-up design, and tournament-ready cockpit make her equally suited for extended cruising or serious offshore fishing. Powered by the highly sought-after MAN1350CR package, this Viking delivers impressive performance, efficient cruising characteristics, and the confidence that comes with significant recent mechanical updates.
