More than 30 years ago, Terry Yen and a group of like-minded individuals passionate about boating came together to establish a Taiwanese shipyard that would focus on building reliable, luxurious pleasure boats. It began with a 46-foot Sundeck Motor Yacht and was followed up with a 53-foot Yacht Fisher. With Terry Yen being an exceptional naval architect, and a skilled workforce with proximity to Japanese and South Asian markets, DynaCraft soon caught on.

By the late 1990's, Dyna Yachts model range now included motor yachts from 52 to 77 feet and popularity was quickly growing. U.S. builder Marlow Yachts partnered with Dyna to develop a new line of cruising boats that would go on to sell many units between 2000 and 2010. Today, Dyna Yachts has sold and delivered over 300 boats worldwide ranging all the way from 32 feet to the 105' luxury motor yacht.

United Yacht Sales is proud to be the exclusive Dyna Yachts dealer in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada and we look forward to displaying the Dyna 68 Enclosed SkyBridge Motor Yacht at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Every Dyna Yacht is constructed with the highest quality materials and standards possible. All major components and equipment are sourced from major, reputable suppliers so service and maintenance on your Dyna is easy. Dyna offers a level of customization not seen at most shipyards as we invite our owners to express their personal taste and vision through the design of their yacht.

In a recent review of the Dyna 68 in Power & MotorYacht Magazine, the editor declared it a "small superyacht" due to its intelligent use of space on the main deck and in the stateroom accommodations.

Designer: Cor D. Rover

World-renown Dutch design studio Cor D. Rover teamed up with Terry Yen to design the 68 Motor Yacht. A few of their recent projects include working with Sirena, Azimut Magellano, Zeelander, and Horizon Yachts. "Together with my team I search for new ways to give every yacht the exclusive appearance that satisfies the wishes of my clients. With lines that are unique but recognizable, not exaggerated but surprising. Lines that are beautiful today and will be tomorrow. In other words, reflections of your intentions. In our vision you can only achieve these results with a strong interaction between client and designer. It’s a search for timeless beauty." - Cor D. Rover

Upon entering the salon, the rich fit-and-finish, the open feeling from the large windows and high ceilings, as well as the sightlines from the aft doors to the windshield take ahold of you. It's this feeling that gives the Dyna 68 that "superyacht feel". The designer's use of the beautiful engraved glass panel is an elegant and creative touch as it hides the interior staircase to the skylounge. The interior decor can be customized to the owner's tastes, however the standard 68 features comfortable, sectional sofas and high-gloss cabinetry.

The Skybridge on board is ideal for cruising enthusiasts that want comfortable, climate-controlled protection while driving. The Dyna 68 can be ordered as both an open flybridge and with the skybridge enclosure. Inside the skylounge you'll find indoor seating, a wet-bar, the upper helm station with comfortable seats, and all of your navigational electronics. Outside of the aft skylounge door there is a curved settee and table for enjoying the view outdoors.

Owners also have a choice of having either one or two helm stations. The Dyna 68 featured at FLIBS utilizes the main deck area for interior living space and only has the upper helm in the skylounge.

The interior of the Dyna 68 is really where this yacht shines. "By giving this design a very unique character, we were able to develop a concept from our perspective and distinguish us from the traditional designers. In this design we were able to develop design solutions and various color options which are attractive, functional and meet the needs of the people using the space. Our design is the result of a careful research that stands out for the quality and refinement, with great attention to the details, luxurious ambiance, and environmental friendly materials,” said designer Cor D. Rover.

Again, the owners of a new Dyna 68 would be able to have a choice as to where to put the galley. Depending on their personal taste, a new Dyna ordered would have the option of having the galley placed on the lower deck or on the main deck as part of the dining area. On the Dyna 68 at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, the galley is placed up and across from the formal dining table. The panoramic windows make this a very open and pleasant space.

The standard layout on the Dyna 68 features four spacious staterooms on the lower deck as well as a generous crew cabin placed aft. The master suite stretches the full beam of the yacht and is placed midship for privacy and quietness. There is a walk-in wardrobe closet, several drawers throughout the room, as well as a seating area that can be used as a desk if desired. The master bathroom is luxurious and features his-and-her vanities.

The VIP stateroom is placed forward in the bow and is almost as equally spectacular as the master. An en suite, private head along with an abundance of storage space makes the VIP accommodations a comfortable space for overnight or extended cruises. Two additional staterooms share a head and feature either side-by-side twin beds or over/under bunk beds.

The Dyna Yachts 68 can be almost entirely customized when ordered new, however the standard layout below has proven to be the most popular for both private owners and charter use. The layout below is also the same layout of the Dyna 68 that will be at this year's Fort Lauderdale Boat Show with United Yacht.
