Cranchi Yachts For Sale

The legacy of premier Italian boatbuilder Cranchi began over 150 years ago when founder Giovanni Cranchi began building boats at his first workshop on the shore of Lake Como in northern Italy in the late 19th century. Four generations later, Aldo Cranchi partnered with Tullio Monzino and expanded operations at a new shipyard in Piantedo in 1970. Innovation in design, materials, and production processes followed in the ensuing decades.

In 2020, a new flagship model designed by award-winning world-class, multi-discipline designer, Christian Grande, was introduced—the Cranchi Settantotto 78 with an LOA of 82ft, including swim platform and pulpit. Impressive with full-height main deck windows that are symmetrical with the lower deck’s large cut-out windows, and seamless flow of indoor/outdoor spaces with clean forms, balanced color schemes, luxurious amenities, materials, fit & finish; the stunning style one expects of a renowned superyacht designer! Nothing was overlooked; every available space is masterfully and elegantly utilized, from the aft beach cabana complete with custom furniture and overhead shower that doubles as a tender/water toy garage to the fabulous foredeck seating area with drinks fridge, stereo, and wireless phone charging dock.

The flybridge features a huge teak outdoor galley and an array of seating and lounging options, along with a pull-out shower tucked inside a stainless-steel post! Every meticulous detail contributes to the Settantotto’s stunning ambiance and is combined with the performance of the Cranchi hull design developed by Aldo Cranchi, the shipyard’s technical department engineers, and Volvo IPS engines. Aldo Cranchi’s naval architecture has always given priority to hydrodynamic efficiency.

And the Cranchi shipyard is one of the few advanced yards in Europe to have invested in the EmpirBus multi-plexing technology, the cutting-edge electrical automation and management system that works with

Garmin displays to control everything related to the engines and navigation, along with all the boat’s utilities and functions. This simplifies the wiring and installation which is reduced to a single wire to connect to the programmable box instead of a big bundle of wires and eliminates the need for rows of fuses and electrical panels, as traditional electrical components and relays are replaced with electrical modules. EmpirBus modules are waterproof—an added benefit, and redundancy is inherent with wifi and smartphones to redistribute information. This technology has been in use in the automotive industry for 20 years already, with a high degree of safety. Graphical displays simplify the use of the boat for the owner, captain, and crew.

Cranchi’s E26 Classic and the E26 Rider are versatile contemporary classics that feature the distinctly vertical stem and fluid lines of a high-performance hull. The Classic’s teak clad bow deck and stern platform are reminiscent of the beautiful craftsmanship of yesteryear’s handmade wooden boats combined with today’s innovative and functional solutions and amenities. The Classic is a perfect balance between vintage elegance and today’s standards and is short-listed for the 2021 Motor Boat Awards in the Sportsboat category. The E26 Rider is an innovative bowrider with an outboard engine, instead of the

Classic’s inboard/outboard. The Rider’s bow deck features a lounge area that can be safely accessed via an opening in the center of the windscreen, even when underway. Sofas on opposite sides can be used as seats or lounges. The spacious cockpit is the hub of activity whether cruising, relaxing, entertaining—two large sofas face each other and the captain and companion seats swivel to expand area for socializing. The outboard is centered between two decks for convenient boarding or to enjoy as a “beach.” Either model can be a superb day cruiser and luxury tender.

Besides the new Settantotto 78 ft, the E26 Classic and E26 Rider, Cranchi currently offers E52F Evoluzione, E52S Evoluzione, 60 HT, 60 ST, M44 HT, T55 Trawler, T43 Trawler, T36 Crossover, the new A46 Luxury Tender, Z35, and the E30 Endurance.
