FEATURES AND COMMENTS:
Legacy was a fresh water boat until around 2008 when she was delivered to Florida and placed in a covered shed.
Her interior wood is far better than the average trawler of her genre. There are no noticeable water leaks or evidence of any prior. Her window frames are still good, her gel coat has a respectable shine, headliner is in good condition and overall the boat is quite pleasing to visit.
Her well preserved hand carved teak doors, teak parquet cabin soles, (throughout all of the interior), solid interior teak trim, teak veneer paneling, varnished teak decking on the F/B and under the aft deck create an old world classic charm rarely found on modern boats today.
Vessel is still actively used and is fully operational. This is not a dock queen that has been left to stagnate. Last bottom job in October 2016.
This is a hard chine, semi-displacement hull with a deep keel for propellor protection. While capable of higher speeds, she is best at her 8.5 to 10 Knot cruising speed burning 5 GPH (with the generator running.)
She is Great Loop capable with a low airdraft.
Realistic buyers will find this to be a good opportunity to purchase an older vessel with quality Caterpillar engines and without the normal window leaks so often found in this class of boat.
Owners might consider smaller quality trades.
