Every now and then a broker gets lucky and a chance to list a beautiful boat emerges. This is the case with HAVANA GOODTIME. An absolutely gorgeous example of a center cockpit Kelly-Peterson and her blue water capabilities have already been proven. With standing headroom in excess of 6 foot 5 inches throughout, the interior hand-fitted joinery of teak and her gorgeous appearance whether at the dock or underway, HAVANA GOODTIME will turn heads. Designed by Jack Kelly and Doug Peterson, HAVANA GOODTIME is hull #19 of 30. The fast cruising design allows sailing in excess of 10 knots and under power her speed is 7-8 knots. A true, proven, and capable blue water sailboat HAVANA GOODTIME only needs your personal gear and she is ready for the next adventure. The owner has changed plans and HGT is now available. The 46 is a stretched version of the well know KP-44. The extra 2 feet give the KP-46 an elegant appearance and since the cockpit is not raised the limes remain clean. The cutter rigged KP-46 is very convenient and forgiving. The KP-46 is fast, smooth, and sea kindly when in heavy seas or weather. She easily handles sea states when other larger boats are kept in port or anchorages. The center cockpit gives an ample aft stateroom with separate companionway and an onsite head and shower. The main cabin is comfortable underway with convenient communications with the cockpit during overnight passages. The forward head has private access from the main salon and the forward cabin. The main salon has been modified from the original design as the single settee on the port side has been replaced with two seats and a cabinet between them. Walk through from the salon to the aft cabin is down a wide companionway with engine compartment access inboard and genset access outboard. Access to both is wonderful and without the contortionist requirements found on many sailboats. Easily handled by two but certainly capable of single-handed sailing, this KP-46 is set up for ease of sailing and will out run anything of this size and more. Don’t miss the true blue water beauty.
