    Introduction

With a total of over 1,400 hulls built, this venerable Catalina has been well proven over time. “Designed by Frank Butler, it quickly gained popularity as a fast, stiff, and sturdily built cruising yacht. It is a great light-air performer with commodious accommodations.” From the Catalina 34 International Association (www.c34.org).

OLIVER II comes to market as her seller, a 28 year veteran of the USCG is retiring from sailing. He has diligently maintained the vessel, and her extensive tools and spares inventory all convey. Her engine and transmission were installed new in 2009. She is aggressively priced and ready to go.

    Brokers Comments

This boat is ready to cruise today. She is mechanically sound with a new engine and transmission in 2009. There is a vast array of tools and spares worth several thousand dollars which all convey. Her galley is fully equipped down to utensils and table settings. Cosmetics could use attention here and there as noted, however this vessel as priced represents an outstanding value.
    What the Boat Needs:
The Dodger is in Poor Condition and Needs to be Replaced.
The Cockpit Bimini is Serviceable but Near End of Useful Life.
    Her Exterior Brightwork Needs Refinishing.
Deck and Topside Finish is Servicable, but Faded.
There is a small ding in the foredeck, at the base of the starboard side house roof that needs to be repaired.
