110 years in the making and assumed to be among the first and longest running boat shows, the 5 day New York Boat Show is produced by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA). As one of the most respected shows in the industry, thousands of fishing and boating aficionados begin their season parallel to the New York Boat Show.
With attendance increasing each year, admission is still affordable. Adults are just $15 and kids 15 and younger are free with a paid adult admission.
Feel like you have traveled back in time as you revel in the beauty of the Antique Engines Exhibit. This was started by the Shepherd family in the early 1900s. The earliest engines on display aimed to determine if there is a market for outboards and as it turned out affirmative, a lot of motors were sold since then.
Also, be amazed by the do-it-yourself seminar and workshops on boat and motor repair, upgrades and maintenance. The seminars make for great education material on ways to better and safer, for you and the whole family.
