She was sailed to the east coast of the United States for her closing in August 2017 before continuing north later that year to appear in the 2017 Annapolis Boat Show. From November 2017 through June 2018 she cruised the Bahamas, then continued exploring the eastern seaboard before returning to the BVI in November 2018 to enjoy a season of Caribbean cruising.
In February 2020 Sea Larks transited the Panama Canal just before global travel restrictions took effect. From 2020 through 2025 she has spent each season sailing between California and Mexico, proving her reliability and comfort over repeated long-range passages. In March 2025 she departed Mexico bound for French Polynesia, where she is now lying in Marina Papeete and fully prepared for her next adventure.
Her condition and systems have been maintained to an exceptional standard with continuous upgrades across all major categories. Key enhancements include a comprehensive Mastervolt lithium house bank with energy management, Starlink communications, a Garmin 7616 navigation suite with autopilot and radar integration, nearly 2400W of solar across davits and cabin top, a Fischer Panda generator, Cruise RO 40 GPH watermaker and a powerful tender and davit system with electric winches. Safety gear has been consistently kept up to date, including serviced fire extinguishers and supplemental navigation and communication equipment. A new North Sails mainsail was fitted in October 2025.
