Starting at the transom you will find the optional swim platform with concealed telescopic swim ladder; starboard on the transom is the fiberglass transom gate.
As soon as you step on the Tiara you will notice Tiara’s famous diamond pattern nonskid. The 31 is built no differently than the larger Tiara Yachts and has a tilt away helm station which allows the owner to get behind the helm and work on the electronics, wiring and VDO gauges.
The Captain’s seat has the back-to-back configuration with storage under it. There is an inspection hatch allowing easy access to preview the engine bay.
The helm is well laid out and has two Nat Nav Furunos that have had soft wear updates, a new VHF, remote pad for the bow light, auto pilot. The toggle switches are in good condition, shifters and throttle move well, and the VDO gauges are nice and clear.
The interior finish is very nice Teak veneer with a Teak & Holly veneer sole. Immediately forward of the head is the galley with a Corian countertop, stainless steel sink storage compartments, and a two-burner cooktop (the cooktop does have a crack in it but can be replaced). There are dish lockers, a microwave oven and an AC/DC refrigerator freezer.
On the starboard side you will find the dinette lounge. This area has U-shaped seating that will convert into a berth and has storage below. You will see the pedestal mount table. Above the dinette area are hull side storage compartments. Aft on the bulkhead is the boat’s electrical panel and generator panel. The Tiara’s battery switches are under the companionway steps.
