General
The Strike 29 twin diesel sport fisherman “Double O Seven” was built in 2001 and has been a lift baby (stored out of the water on a boat lift) ever since. She is a one-owner boat and has an exceptionally low 450 original engine hours on her twin 330 hp Cummins 6BTA Diamond B turbo diesels. She cruises at 32 knots with a miserly 15 GPH fuel consumption. The owner reports that the engines are run on a regular schedule.
Recently, Voigt’s Marine completed nearly $4000 of engine maintenance including:
Racor fuel filters - Inspect ,maintain and change
Run engines and check temperatures
Visually inspect engines gears, air cleaners and breathers
Diagnose starboard engine - Install mechanical gauges, sea trial, check temperatures and pressures at 200
RPM intervals
Starboard turbo found to be building no boost
Replaced starboard turbo
Sea trial and verified proper boost for both engines
Double O Seven is a fully equipped fishing machine and has a tuna tower fitted with dual controls and electronics. The electronics are functional but dated. Her new owner will have the opportunity to upgrade electronics as desired. Some Florida sun damage is also evident but most of the canvas and all of the vinyl has been recently replaced.
Double O Seven is available due to her owner’s health. This is your chance to acquire a very lightly used and regularly maintained Strike 29 sport fisherman with fuel consumption that won’t break the bank.
