This 2016 brand new 74’ Spencer, suffered a grounding and partial submersion while being delivered to her original owner. She has received an extensive repair and refit with uncompromising attention to detail. All structural repairs were performed under the direction of Robert Schofield, Naval Architect and Naval Engineer, and have been scrupulously documented. In addition, two marine surveyors have been involved, inspecting the repairs as the refit has progressed. This vessel is for all practical purposes, a brand-new boat with full warranties on new engines, generators, sea keepers, appliances, systems, wiring and substantially more (see specifications). This yacht will easily pass a most exhaustive survey and she represents an opportunity to have a virtually new boat at a substantial discount with immediate delivery.
She has new 2600 HP MTU M96L engines, two (2) new 29KW ONAN Generators with sound shields, and (2) new M9 seakeepers. She has (4) staterooms, (3) heads, tackle storage/laundry room, (3) Release helm chairs on the fly bridge and a Release fighting chair. She runs in excess of 40 knots.
This 74' Spencer was damaged on its maiden voyage, but make no mistake it has been fixed 100% properly. With over 1000 pictures of documentation and a lengthy log of repair, many engineers and surveyors have been a part of this project. On June 4-5, 2020 a survey was requested and performed by Blake Stahl. The vessel passed with great confidence - it is structurally sound and in like new condition. We have all the confidence in the world that the new owner will have a great boat with many years of enjoyment. This Spencer shows as new with all new boat warranties and at the fraction of what a new 74' Spencer would cost. It is truly a great opportunity.
