“All the comforts of a large boat in a small, easily manageable size” is used to describe the Ranger Tug R-21. If you want to get out on the water in an economical, practical boat you should come to see TICKETY BOO and consider her your next cruising vessel.
With a very economical single Yanmar diesel, large cockpit for fishing and sunning, compact galley for the creature comforts - and a V-Berth for overnight get-a-ways. TICKETY BOO only requires a small slip space, or perhaps place her on a trailer and go cruising in different areas. She's easily managed either way.
Step aboard into the large cockpit. There is seating for 3-4 in the cushioned back seat, or on the lift-up engine hatch in the center. Overhead for sun protection is a full-length SS framed Sunbrella bimini top. On both port and starboard, there is a molded instep to allow access to the side decks to go to the bow. Aft of the rear seat is a large fiberglass swim platform with a concealed fold-out telescoping swim ladder to starboard. The aft seat lifts up for access to the two A/C batteries and for storage. Attached to the aft portion of the engine hatch is a gorgeous teak table.
Forward of the cockpit is a sliding door for passageway into the cabin area. Immediately to your starboard is the refrigerator and to port is the galley stainless steel sink and alcohol single burner stove. There is a clever seat bottom and back for the crew member that fits over the stove area, then stows away when not in use. The helm is to starboard with its fold-down seat, single throttle/shifter controls, teak steering wheel, and electronic navigation equipment.
Forward is the V-Berth with shelf storage and under-berth storage. The center lift-out reveals the Porta Potty. There are overhead hatches in the V-Berth area and above in the hard top. Along with sliding windows port and starboard. The interior is cooled by a 3500 BTU A/C run by either dockside power or the inverter with two Group 27 batteries. The interior is heated by a radiator style heater with blower behind it using engine coolant flowing through it.
TICKETY BOO is in excellent condition and ready for wherever you want to cruise. Her pocket mini-tug boat cruising styling is an eye catcher wherever she goes. Use her for day cruising or overnight cruising. Her cabin A/C makes her very comfortable and livable in Florida’s heat climate. Or her heater is great for the northern climates – extend your cruising season in comfort.
