This is a 1998 50’ Post Sportfish with continuous upgrades. This 50’ Post features new style Garmin and Furuno touchscreens which provides a full suite of electronic capabilities. Tangled received a full paint job in 2006 at the Hinckley Yard in Stuart, FL, and at that time, a new custom hardtop was designed and installed.
Specifications
Salon
There is an L-shaped sofa along the port side and cockpit bulkhead with storage below. To starboard upon entering from the cockpit is the electrical panel in the starboard aft corner with a storage cabinet below. Just forward of the panel is a barrel swivel chair. Forward of the swivel chair is the L-shaped off white galley seating with a Corian table with two teak pedestals. Forward of the dinette is the windshield area cabinets in teak which house the entertainment center. There is a 32” LG flatscreen TV. There is satellite TV by Intelliant with Direct TV hookup. The cabinet houses the following:
The salon features silhouette blinds, including the door and a full carpet runner. There is a surround sound system with Bose speakers.
Galley
Down two steps is the mid-level, U-shaped galley which features a large full sized black Amana refrigerator/freezer. The galley sink is on the port side of the galley. Aft on the U is a Sharp Carousel Convection/Microwave Oven housed in a cabinet just above the counter. In the counter is a recessed two burner Ceran Cooktop. The floors in the galley are teak and holly.
Master Stateroom and Head
To starboard is the Master Stateroom. The master features a queen bunk that runs fore and aft from the engine room bulkhead. There are night stands on both sides of the bunk and tufted headboard of rolled fabric in a hunter green. There is a Samsung flat screen TV and a hanging locker forward and to starboard of the bunk. In back of the entrance door is a built-in closet with shelving that acts as a built in bureau.
The master head has teak and holly floor. There is a white Corian molded sink with a vanity under. There is a large mirrored medicine cabinet above the sink. In the shower there is a bench for seating and a locker that could house towels, soaps, shampoo or a variety of other items. To port of the shower door is a linen closet and built in hamper. The head is a Raritan electric. There is a Bowmar hatch in the master with a privacy cover.
Aft in the companionway and to port is the under/over crew or guest stateroom. There is a hanging locker to starboard of the bunks. The bunk covers are a hunter green and gold with matching accent pillows. There is also a hatch that can be opened for fresh air in cooler weather. The hatch has a privacy cover.
VIP Stateroom and Head
All the way forward is the VIP stateroom the cabin features a vee berth layout with the port bunk a high twin bunk with a hanging locker underneath the bunk. The starboard bunk is low and can sleep two. Underneath the starboard bunk are drawers. Aft of the starboard bunk is a cedar lined closet that has been reconfigured into a tackle locker. It is where the washer and dryer are normally housed.
From the VIP there is access to the day/2nd head. There is another entrance to this head from the companionway. There is a hatch in the VIP with a privacy cover. There’s also a 22” Samsung TV on the wall between the ends of the two berths.
The head has an enclosed shower with a bench for seating. There is a molded sink with a vanity under and a mirrored medicine cabinet with storage over the sink. The ceiling is mirrored.
The floors in the heads are teak and holly. There is a linen closet to port of the sink.
Guest Stateroom
Aft in the companionway and to port is the under/over crew or guest stateroom. There is a hanging locker to starboard of the bunks. The bunk covers are a hunter green and gold with matching accent pillows. There is also a hatch that can be opened for fresh air in cooler weather. The hatch has a privacy cover.
Flybridge
Up the ladder to the bridge, you’ll find a white painted Bluewater Helm and companion chair with covers. The console extends all the way to the starboard side of the bridge. Forward of the console is seating in the shape of an L to starboard with storage underneath, and there’s a long bench seat along the port side with storage underneath. The console itself is very nicely laid out with gauges and electronics. The electronics are as follows:
There is a ¾ EZ2CY2 Enclosure. There is a Ritchie Power damp compass and overhead red lights. There are manual teaser reels at the helm overhead and spreader lights on the hardtop.
Cockpit
The cockpit is accessed from the starboard aft side of the salon. The cockpit has a transom door with gate, four (4) flush mount Rod holders, four (4) rod holders in the arms of the Bluewater chair, and eight rod holders (8) on the bridge aft rail. The Bluewater chair has a rocket launcher and is painted out in white. There are Rupp outriggers. There is salt and freshwater washdown in the cockpit as well as the water fill and pressure water hookups. Along the aft bulkhead from the port side, is a sink and bait prep center with tackled drawers below. Next to starboard is the engine room access. On the starboard side of the salon door is the cockpit freezer. There is a storage locker in the step to the salon door. There is a circular in deck live well. There’s also a large in deck box to port that receives the ice from the Eskimo 600#/day ice maker. There’s also a huge in deck fish box. There is a camera in the cockpit, under cover board speakers and lighting. The Glendenning Cablemaster is on the starboard side. There are underwater lights in the transom.
Foredeck
The foredeck on Limitless features pulpit, and a Simpson Lawrence rode/chain windlass.
Engine Room / Electrical
The engine room is accessed from the cockpit. Upon entering the engine room on the starboard and port side are the two battery banks.
There are two 85 amp Battery chargers. The 600#/day Eskimo ice machine is located aft of the starboard engine. There are Oberdorfer pumps for the oil change systems and Perko Battery switches. The engine room has 2-cameras to view both motors. There is a Sea Fire Halon 1301 fire system forward. There is a Glendenning synchronizer system, and a newer Raritan Hot Water heater. The shaft has dripless logs with two water sources to each log. (2) 12” fans.
There is a separate battery system and charger for the electronics on the bridge. Batteries located outside port motor in the engine room.
