76 Palmer Johnson EB Sportfisherman1993

Rare opportunity for a custom Palmer Johnson Enclosed Bridge Sportfish designed by famed naval architect, Tom Fexas, most renowned for his 1978 design of the Midnight Lace, a retro-styled motor yacht reminiscent of the 1920s/30s rumrunners and long, narrow commuter boats. Midnight Lace with fine exterior wood detailing, high clipper bow, and low raked back cabins, inspired the "Italian Style" of modern luxury yachts. He designed nearly 1000 boats and megayachts during his career, collaborating with several notable yacht builders, such as Palmer Johnson--a pioneer of aluminum superyacht construction in the late 1970s. PRIME TIME is among several motor yachts designed by Tom Fexas for Palmer Johnson. His engineering background, designing naval submarines, is evident in the use of military grade aluminum in the hull and superstructure, and the aluminum and teck decks.

Exterior and interior design was by Espinosa Yacht Design, founded in 1990 by Juan Carlos (JC) Espinosa, renowned for award-winning megayacht interior and exterior designs. PRIME TIME can accommodate 8 guests in 4 staterooms and 2 crew in bow quarters. She features two midships master staterooms with ensuite heads. The main deck salon features a remarkable aft portside U-shaped galley with a circular bar at the inboard end of counter. A large window in aft bulkhead allows the chef to keep an eye on cockpit action while prepping meals. A full-size upright refrigerator/freezer is located next to salon door to cockpit for convenient access to cold drinks and snacks. PRIME TIME has been refitted and upgraded with modern electronics and amenities. Her top speed is about 23 knots, and she cruises at 18-20 knots powered by recently rebuilt twin 1,100hp MAN diesels, giving her great range for long fishing excursions on 3,200 gallons of fuel.
