Mainship 34 Trawler - You will not find a cleaner, more well equipped and taken care of Fast Trawler for the cruising couple than "2thFISH". It’s the perfect size with lots of room in the cabin areas and the flybridge. A lot of thought by Mainship went into the design of the 34 Trawler. It is far superior to her previous siblings yet carries a lot of the good DNA that was successful in that model. This boat has been owned and maintained by an experienced couple that has owned many boats in their past and has used this boat for a long cruising voyages, but has decided they want a bigger boat. She is truly TURN-KEY and I don’t use that term lightly.
Easy to see in Stuart, FL just 45 minutes north of West Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). Call for your showing. Don’t miss out; this boat will sell fast!
Designed and built for comfortable coastal cruising and occasional offshore ventures, this Mainship 34 “Fast Trawler” has the very popular 380HP Yanmar single diesel (with low hours), and combines a salty profile with sturdy construction and a luxurious single Stateroom interior. The spacious Flybridge 34 is the ideal boat for the cruising couple….easily handled in tight quarters (especially with bow and stern thrusters), easy to maintain and reasonable on the wallet. Built on an efficient semi-displacement hull with a full protective keel, this perfect for Bahamian cruising. The Galley down layout results in a notably spacious salon and a serving counter, with optional stools overlooking the Galley, adds a nice touch. The u-shaped Galley has all the amenities required for preparing gourmet meals, including generous storage and hard surface Corian counter tops. The forward well-ventilated stateroom has a center line island berth, cedar lined and lighted closets, and the Head compartment includes a spacious glassed in separate Stall Shower.
This Mainship 34 Fast Trawler also has the back up Lower Helm option with all controls including Yanmar electronic engine controls, engine read outs, Raymarine chart plotter/radar, Raymarine autopilot, trim tab controls and Raymarine VHF radio. The large Flybridge overhangs the side decks and the aft cockpit, providing an amazingly large and comfortable navigation and lounging area, rarely seen on a vessel under 40 feet. This model also has the upper Galley option on the flybridge with propane BBQ, stainless slide out Isotherm fridge, and sink.
The Single 380 HP Turbo 6LY3-UTP Yanmar economically cruise at 8 to 9 knots but will get you to safe harbour or a bridge opening when required at 15 to 17 knots at full load. Not to mention ease of taking care of a single engine.
The Salon is very large, open and airy. It has wooden blinds, a large comfy sofa, and two chairs. There is a portside breakfast bar area with two stools overlooking the Galley. There is 6’4” of head room and a teak centerline handhold. The electrical panel is easy access. The fully equipped lower helm is to forward starboard with a opening door out to the starboard side deck.
Located down two steps and to portside. Lots of room and especially storage for a 34’ boat!
Located all the way forward with an island berth that lifts up for storage and a storage drawer underneath. There are two closets, two opening side portholes and an opening overhead hatch with sliding screen and sliding sunshade.
Located to starboard with access from main passageway it has an enclosed shower. Plenty roomy!
The Flybridge on 2thFISH is huge and is another prime entertainment area, in addition to its helm cruising function. It has a very large L-shaped settee seating on the port side with opposing double sofa style seating on the starboard side. ALL with lift-up seating with tons of storage beneath. It’s all enclosed with super clear new IsInglass and Sunbrella bimini top with SS framework. Aft of that enclosure is the “Summer Kitchen” with its SS safety railings. The Summer Kitchen is equipped with propane BBQ, sink and refrigerator/freezer. The perfect outdoor Chef’s paradise.
The aft cockpit has plenty of space for a couple of chairs and table, and large enough to go fishing. There are two large drainable storage bins built into the transom with lift up lids. There is a nice large fiberglass swim platform aft of that with an access door on the starboard side. A cold shower assembly makes it complete. There are molded FBG stairs up to the flybridge with great hand holds. These stairs lift rearward for engine room access (no having to move furniture around in the Salon to lift-up hatches). There is great access forward to the bow via well protected safe high bulwarks on the side decks.
The Engine Room is accessible through the cockpit by lifting the Flybridge stairs rearward. Then down a ladder into the well-lit engine room. You will be surprised by the amount of room available for service in this area. Since the Fuel Tankage is forward of the engine room (and not on the outboard side of the engines) there is plenty of room for outboard engine service access. Everything is very neat and organized and WELL TAKEN CARE OF in this boat. She is highly maintained!
I’ve been in this business for 19 years and rarely does a boat in this nice condition come along. I am very impressed, and you will be too. She is nicely equipped and ready to cruise. She would make a proud addition to any yacht club.
