Here is a nice example of this popular American made Hunter 37.5 Legend that has proven to be both a comfortable cruiser and club race winner. “My Whim” was a fresh water boat for most of her life sailing the Great Lakes out of the Chicago area. Her current (and 2nd only) owner has owned her for the past 22 years, sailing her south to Florida a few years ago.

She features both forward and aft private sleeping cabins. The forward cabin has a full-across “V” bed, convenient sink and vanity, and large hanging locker. The aft cabin has a queen bed, hanging locker, and direct access to the head and shower.

Some of “My Whim’s” updates and improvements include replacing the original CNG galley range with a propane-fueled one, installing a new refrigerator and microwave, and installing a new anchor windlass with wireless remote control.

“My Whim” is now offered for sale at an asking price well below most of the other Legend 37.5’s currently on the market, and the only one available in southeast Florida with fresh bottom paint, and ready for her new owners to enjoy sailing the warm waters of Florida and the Bahamas right now!
