This is a very well-kept Hunter Passage 42 Center Cockpit, aft cabin, sloop rigged monohulled sailboat. The only second owner of this hull have spent a year in the Caribbean Islands and enjoyed their time on it but have returned to land and ready to sell. The original owner did many upgrades including in mast roller furling, added an extra electrical wench, added extra batteries, updated the electronics, Corian counter tops and more. The layout of this model makes cruising comfortable with the huge salon with extra sofa, well-appointed galley, large, walk around queen bunk aft cabin with roomy head that has a tub/shower combo. Even the guest V-Berth cabin has a queen bed, own entrance to full head with shower and vanity table. Defiantly a comfortable boat for everyone aboard.

This is a great, well maintained boat with a lot of system documentations, notes on changes, improvements, etc. The level of care and upgrades are obvious once aboard this vessel, however there are some things needed on this boat before she is ready to sail and the sellers are honest about them, hence the low selling price. Things that need to be done are:

  • The leech of the head sail needs replacing
  • The furling foil needs the top section (tube) and bushing replaced
  • The stanchion mount block needs to be replaced (for the head sail)
  • Inspect/replace furling line due to chaffing near broken stanchion block
  • Due to a recent liquid container leak under the master cabin bunk, a section of the teak sole needs to be refinished/replaced
  • The freezer in the galley needs a new hydraulic arm
  • Bottom Job
