36' Herreshoff 1984

CLASSIC, ANTIQUE CRUISING CUTTER FOR SALE!

This classic 1984 Herreshoff Nereia 36 wooden cutter has been lovingly cruised and maintained by her current owner since 1999. Now, it's time to find her a new home. The current owner purchased her in 1999 with only 75 hours on her 1987 Perkins diesel engine. Since then, the engine has been rebuilt at approx. 1275 hours in 2014, with only 300 hours currently on her since the rebuild. The owner has made several upgrades to her over the years, including her ProFurl roller furler for the jib, new bimini, 3-panel Isinglass enclosure, boom brake, and other standard maintenance (maintenance logs & manuals avaiable).

Manufactured by Tortola Trawlers, this particular L. Francis Herreshoff design has only had 3 owners in her lifetime. The previous two owners sailed her lightly due to health issues. Her current owner has sailed her locally since 1999, including many trips to the Keys for fun adventures.
