Specifications
"Entropy" boasts the much preferred 3-stateroom, 2-head layout with galley down. Entering the salon through the sliding door from the teak cockpit, it is difficult to point out which feature is the most striking: the enormity of the space, the openness, the 360-degree view, the beautifully varnished teak interior, or the tasteful decor. To starboard aft is a very comfortable "L-Shaped" lounge with beautiful adjustable cocktail/dining table. To port aft are two-barrel chairs separated by the entertainment center cabinet with electronically activated Flat Screen TV. Forward to port is the companion lounge and chart table. The companion lounge offers a very comfortable settee for guests, allowing excellent visibility while underway. To starboard is the lower helm station, featuring a STIDD chair (swivels to face the center of the space), full electronics package, side door to the starboard deck, and excellent visibility all-around for the captain. The salon windows feature custom adjustable blinds, as well as exterior covers for complete privacy when needed.
Moving forward down a set of steps towards the companionway, the galley is down to port, with the VIP Stateroom to starboard through twin pocket doors. The "U-shaped" galley has the benefit of the overhead windshield which allows plenty of extra space and natural light and eliminates the "claustrophobic" feel that is so common on many galley-down yachts. The galley features Corian countertops, double stainless sinks with disposal, microwave oven, conventional oven, 4-burner stove-top, dishwasher, large, stacked refrigerator and freezer, beautiful glass-front cocktail glass storage, and plenty of drawer and cabinet storage. Across from the galley is the VIP Stateroom. This stateroom consists of a large double berth against the hull side, flat screen TV w/DVD player, cedar-lined hanging locker, nightstands with swivel reading lamps, custom bookshelf, large mirror, two (2) stainless opening ports, and separate climate control. Also included is another large storage cabinet that, due to its proximity, can easily be used as additional galley storage. With the pocket doors open, it gives both the galley and VIP a wide-open feel.
Moving farther forward, the stacked washer and drier are contained in their own companionway closet to starboard, with the Guest head just forward of that. Across to port is the Twin Berth Stateroom. This stateroom offers twin berths athwartships separated by a cedar-lined hanging locker, 2 stainless opening ports, flat screen TV w/DVD player, separate climate control, reading lamps, overhead hatch, and plenty of drawer storage beneath both berths. Across the companionway is the large Guest Head. This space features a vacu-flush head system, Corian Countertops, sink, vanity and cabinet storage, abundant drawer storage, stainless opening port, and separate stall shower.
The Master Stateroom is forward and includes an ensuite head to port and a separate stall shower to starboard- a very much sought-after arrangement. The Centerline Island Queen berth forward boasts an abundance of storage beneath the bed, in a large, hinged compartment as well as two very large drawers. Other storage is found in the cedar-lined hanging locker with a safe, a large linen closet, a bureau of drawers with Corian countertop, and various other drawers and cabinets. Also featured is a large screened and shaded overhead hatch, separate climate control, stainless opening port, flat screen TV w/DVD player, bedside tables, reading lamps, courtesy lights, and custom bookshelves. The head features a vacu-flush head, Corian countertop with sink, vanity, teak framed mirror, abundant storage, teak shower seat, and marble tile shower floor.
Entering the cockpit from the swim platform through the wide transom gate, there are three large lazarette storage lockers in the teak cockpit floor. Each opening lid has custom canvas storage back for easy reach, and clean, deep storage beneath. More than enough room for extra equipment, lines, fenders, etc. The lazarettes are neat and orderly, and offer easy access to rudder posts, Humphree trim tab gear, and other equipment. Included in the cockpit are two Maxwell capstans located in each corner for easier tightening of dock lines when needed. Forward and up a step in the cockpit is a wet bar with ice maker beneath (new). On either side of the cockpit are teak steps which lead to the sidedecks, and and a curved set of teak stairs that lead to the flybridge. The engine room is also accessed from the cockpit via a large sea-door on the port side of the cockpit.
At the top of the curved stairway is the enormous flybridge. The flybridge also has teak decking, as well as a beautiful varnished teak cocktail table alongside of a newly upholstered "L-Shaped" lounge to starboard. To port is a second wet-bar, with a refrigerator beneath. Forward are three (3) STIDD chairs, each recently upholstered, with the center seat mounted directly behind the centerline upper helm console. There is abundant storage beneath the helm console, as well as beneath the lounge cushions. The flybridge is shaded by a beautiful hardtop with overhead hatches, and is enclosed by a very clear enclosure on all 4 sides.
The sidedecks are wide and offer a very safe passage all the way around both sides of the house up to the bow. The decks are all teak, and toe rail is varnished along with the 4 dorade boxes. Very eloquent boat!
