35' Custom Carolina Express 2018

Custom designed and engineered by naval architect, Brad Beers with his brother, Jay (co-founders of Marine Power Doors), this Carolina-style Express Sportfish is truly unique in its design and features. This 35ft Express Sportfish has the high, big bow with huge perpendicular flare typical of Carolina style sportfishing boats and convex hull shape like an upside-down bell—a seaworthy form that tosses aside waves and allows a roomier interior cabin. Her traditional broken sheerline, aft tumblehome, curved teak covered transom with tuna door, teak decks and trim, and pristine exterior are exquisite. No other Sportfish Express in this class comes close to the elegance, luxury, and functionality of this Beers 35 Carolina Express! The cabin is well-appointed and beautifully finished with neatly framed cabinetry and edges…and no distracting exterior hardware! The compact, but fully equipped galley is positioned aft, next to the carpeted companionway steps. A long, cushioned bench settee to starboard doubles as dinette with long teak table on stainless steel pedestal and a full head with separate shower stall is on port side. Stone countertops in head and galley add a distinctive upscale touch. The forward athwartship queen berth is loft-style with an overhead hatch providing natural light. Storage cabinets run along ceiling edges, port and starboard.

The focus of LET'S GO is sportfishing and her cockpit and helm deck are designed to please hardcore offshore anglers with features found in much larger convertible sportfish yachts, such as hydraulic outriggers. The mezzanine deck with cushioned aft facing seats have stainless-steel lined refrigerated drink and bait freezer compartments underneath. The cockpit teak leaning post has 4 rod holders, cutting board and 2 cupholders; a custom portable livewell by Offshore Bait Solutions fits against the aft side of the leaning post. The insulated, chilled fish box is in-sole between the leaning post and mezzanine step. Storage lockers are under gunnels with LED rope lighting underneath. LED rope lighting is under mezzanine and helm deck seating as well. A super bright LED array mounted on aft hardtop edge lights up the entire cockpit and helm deck at night. Harp-curved molded cushioned settees on port and starboard sides have built-in storage. Companion helm chair is mounted to top of molded cabinet with drawers for tackle/gear storage. Helm console is simple, clean with teak pod, Sea Star power steering, single lever controls with thruster buttons, Garmin navigation electronics and displays, and more. Captain’s pedestal chair is mounted to a raised platform for 360-degree visibility. The 3-sided custom spray enclosure zips open in forward center section for ventilation. Rocket launcher rod holders are welded to aft hardtop legs (3 each side) and 3 flush mounted rod holders are in cockpit side covering boards. Aft cleats are tucked under gunnels—nothing impedes the clean lines of this amazing 35ft sportfish express!

2018 Custom Carolina 35' Express

Custom hand-built express sportfishers rarely come available for sale, as they are one-off high-end vessels built specifically for an owner’s wish list. Here is your chance to own a top-of-the-line custom 35-footer that looks, feels, and performs like a much larger boat. The 6-year build took place in Bear, Delaware and was constructed using the same highest quality materials and methods as the top custom boat builders in the industry.

Jay Beers, who founded Marine Power Door in 2008 with partner Brad Beers, engineered and designed a complete electronically driven door operator system to work with salon door sliders. As a vendor to 95% of all custom yacht builders, JR Beers has extensive knowledge and experience in custom-made construction and installation for the bespoke (custom built to the owner’s wishes) luxury sportfish market. Which led Jay Beers, along with naval architect Brad Beers and team of craftsmen to design and build his own 35 ft. custom sportfish--one of the nicest and well thought out express boats available.
