The mast has been made to fold easily for those who would like to clear some shorter bridges. This feature will make people doing the great loop lives much easier. The swim platform is hydraulic to easily launch and retrieve a tender. There is a large seating area/ dining area on the at fly bridge and forward next to the upper helm. The solar panels can run everything on the DC panel during daylight hours. The side door next to the lower helm helps with short handling the boat during docking. Also, there is a third docking station in the cockpit. There is a side boarding door to the cockpit. The 24kw generator is large enough to add additional equipment like a water maker. The boat is set up with the three stateroom layout with two heads. Should you have more that 6 onboard overnighting, there are crew quarters in the bow. While entry is through a large deck hatch, it is very comfortable with a head, sink, storage, separate AC controls and about an 8 ft berth. The master stateroom is very large with a head and a shower area that everyone loves. The salon is largest in its class with a pop up TV that rotates for the salon and to view from the seating area surrounding the lower helm. This Cranchi 53 uses the Volvo IPS 600 geared and propped for trawler speeds. This gives the Yacht excellent fuel economy at trawler speeds (2000nm at 7.5 knots), the capability to handled by a small crew (some captains docked these 53s by themselves.)

This 3 stateroom/ 2 head (an additional crew head forward) yacht is an absolute joy to be aboard. She offers a layout that makes cruising for 2 couples very comfortable and still have room for a couple of children or short term guests. There's even room for a crew member or teenager that needs a little more privacy. The level of fit and finish is well above that normally found at this price point.
Entering the salon from the large aft deck through the sliding door, the galley is immediately to port allowing for easy access to the aft deck, salon sofa or forward dinette and helm. The space is very open and airy but has curtains all around for complete privacy. The lower helm is forward with good visibility and a complete electronics package.
The lower cabins present a bit of a puzzle. The forward and aft cabins are both so nice, either could be considered the master. However with it own ensuite, the aft stateroom would be considered the master by most. The side by side berths in the port cabin offer a comfortable place for additional guests.
