Few boats have matched the popularity of the Carver 36 Mariner. Not only is she beautiful, but beneath that unorthodox styling lies an enormous single-level interior that dwarfs anything in her class. Built on a solid fiberglass hull, the full-beam salon of the Mariner is made possible by elevating the side decks above the cabin windows. These extra wide walkways reach up to the bridge and continue to the bow. The salon includes a booth-style dinette, settee, kitchenette, and a centerline queen berth in the stateroom with a large head compartment and a separate stall shower. The interior woodwork is cherry. In the cockpit, two molded stairways lead to the bridge with its wet bar, ice maker, port and starboard lounges, and aft bench seat. The large bench seat on the bow of this beauty is a popular design feature and doubles as additional storage access. A relatively heavy boat for her size, Upgraded Crusader 330hp V-drive gas engines cruise at 14–16 knots (about 20 knots top). She operated only in the fresh water of Lake Erie until repositioning to Galveston, TX in October 2018.
The salon on this boat is spotless. She is completely open and has an airy feel with plenty of natural lighting. You’ve got easy engine access aft, beautiful dinette table that converts to a berth, L-shaped convertible seating with tons of storage and much, much more!
