POLLY B is a well built and capable blue water cruiser. She has been well cared for and enjoyed an extensive refit in 2015 at the Cape George yard in Port Townsend, WA.

Cape George Yachts, founded by New Zealander Cecil Lange in 1974, is known for building hand crafted classics, timeless, bullet proof, and beautiful blue water boats. This is a William Atkins design, dating from the 1930s, that was modified and adapted to fiberglass by Ed Monk.

The Cape George 36 Cutter is a sought-after model for its traditional lines, high bulwarks, broad decks, spacious cockpit and wineglass transom.  The design is a classic long keel and short overhang, resulting in a relatively long water line. You have a boat with relatively high average speeds, yet very sea-kindly motion and supremely strong construction. The perfect blue water combination and a wonderful blend of classic and modern.

The warm interior is constructed of teak, cedar and mahogany and features a comfortable salon, spacious galley and a large settee which all function well at sea. She can easily accommodate 6 hungry crew. Forward is the master stateroom with double berth and ample storage and a head. Rarely is a Cape George 36 available in this price range. Opportunity awaits!
