2007 52 CABO, BLUELINE with MAN CRM 1550 HP engines was built for tournament fishing. Some of the extensive equipment aboard this 52’ CABO includes Eskimo ice machine, two generators, 120 mile 12Kw open array radar, bow thruster, watermaker and Furuno sonar! Dual AC units on bridge cools bridge and mezzanine.
The extensive equipment list and custom options will give you a feeling for the attention to detail that went into building this yacht.
Standing in the roomy cockpit, you will find two large fish boxes--one equipped with an Eskimo ice machine, one equipped with freezer plates--fighting chair, cockpit combing pads, cockpit freezer, engine room entrance, cockpit lighting, transom door, underwater lights, port and starboard 12 V power outlets for power reels, 6 rod holders, transom bait tank with window, cockpit fresh-and salt-water wash-downs, access to custom Pipe Welders tower and custom factory-installed electric barbecue grill.
Going up the steps to the expansive air conditioned helm deck, we find a beautiful teak deck with teak steps. To starboard, we have cabinetry enclosing the tackle center, and drawer-type refrigerator freezer, (see Helm deck for list of equipment). To port is a large seating area with custom teak table and rod storage beneath the side seat. Going forward, we have three forward-facing helm chairs, a large helm dash area with four electronic display screens and incredible new electronics, opening windshield, hardtop, full enclosure with air-conditioning, overhead compartment with teaser reels, and entryway to lower deck. Two additional AC units added to helm and salon to increase cooling.
Going down the companionway stairs, we enter the salon with a teak and holly sole. To starboard, we have a day head, right at the bottom of the stairs. The large galley is also to starboard, with many cabinets and plenty of counter space. On the opposite side of the salon, we have a large U-shaped seating group with custom Hi-Lo table. The table can be converted into a dining table. There is a large 48" flat-screen TV mounted on the forward bulkhead, rod storage overhead on the port side, with storage cabinets, and the electrical control panel at eye level. Moving forward, we find two large deck hatches into the bilge area. This area can be used both for servicing equipment such as the air conditioners and water maker or for storage of bulk items. To port is the comfortable guest stateroom with two roomy bunks with hanging locker and storage lockers.
Continuing forward down the companionway, we come to the master stateroom. The Master stateroom is well equipped; it has an island-style berth with multiple storage units underneath, hanging lockers, outboard overhead storage lockers, and a large 40" flat screen TV. Attached to the master stateroom we find the spacious master head, equipped with custom countertop and sink along with an enclosed stand-up shower.
The engine room offers standing headroom and good access to the engines, with an assortment of optional equipment and two generators. Few boats of this size give you this much space in the engine room.
