The price of this beautiful 46' Bertram motor yacht reflects the condition and continuous upkeep and updates of this yacht. She has been undergoing continuous renovations and improvements since the current owners purchased her in 1992. All of the changes and improvements to the yacht were made in compliance with Bertram blueprints. The salon is surrounded by beautiful teak walls and has great natural light from the large hull side windows. The salon carpet is nice and clean and in great condition, the interior headliner is new, there are no odors in the boat.
In the salon and on the starboard side is a two-seat sofa; portside are two barrel chairs along with a glass salon table in the center of the salon. On the port side is access to the boat's electrical panel and access to the JVC entertainment center. On the aft Teak bulkhead in the salon is a large mirror and AC control panel, and for entertainment there is a large 27" flat screen TV with Trac Vision. The salon is cooled by a 12,000 BTU AC unit.
The galley is down, has plenty of cupboard space and pullout drawers. The galley has a teak sole and the appliances were replaced in the early 2000s. There is a three-burner Princess oven stove and a microwave oven, and a very clean stand up Whirlpool refrigerator freezer and coffee maker. The galley also includes new interior lights. The dinette is to the port side of the galley and will sit four comfortably, with storage underneath the seats. Surrounding the dinette are custom teak walls and mirrored storage cabinets. The galley and dinette area are conveniently located next to each other, so it is easy to pass food and drinks back and forth without walking through the boat. The dinette also breaks down into a bed. The galley and dinette area are cooled by a 10,000 BTU AC unit.
The 46 Bertram has a comfortable aft full beam master stateroom with a queen bed, under the bed are pull-out drawers. The owner's stateroom has its own climate control with a 10,000 BTU AC unit. Beautiful teak walls surround the room. There is a new headliner along with custom built-in mirrored cabinets. In the room is a hand built Teak vanity dressing table with mirror. Both sides of the room are hull side windows, for entertainment there is a television and built-in speakers.
On the bulkhead are mirrors, the carpet is nice and clean, in the room are two hanging lockers with solid doors.
The Owner's bathroom has custom teak walls and a tiled standup shower tub. There is a Mansfield fresh water vacuum flush commode, a sink with adjustable faucet, hull side window, a large mirror and new fixtures. The head and the owner's stateroom both have solid privacy doors.
As you enter the forward stateroom, on your right is a good size laundry room which was formerly the head. In the laundry room is a Kariba ventless washer/dryer combo.
The forward stateroom is a V-Berth with custom teak interior hull side walls and mirrored storage cabinets, new headliner, ceiling lights and wall light. The forward stateroom is cooled by a 7,000 BTU AC unit. In the forward cabin is a deck hatch and two hanging closets and access to the anchor locker, which is concealed with a mirrored door.
This guest stateroom has its own head which was formerly a storage room with a solid door; in the head is an enclosed tiled stall shower and a Mansfield fresh water vacuum flush commode.
The helm looks great and is protected by a heavy-duty windshield that has a removable cover. All of the gauges are clear, the switches are in great condition, the throttles and shifters are in super condition. For electronics she has a Standard Horizon hailer, Standard Horizon VHF, Raymarine C120 GPS, Datamarine depth finder (not 100% operational), Simrad auto pilot, Raymarine 48NM Radar, open array Radar on the hardtop, and remote pad for the ACR Remote light.
The aft deck is fully enclosed with new Strataglass installed in the fall of 2018. Port and starboard side on the aft deck are boarding gates and each side has side doors. On the aft deck is a table with stools and two chairs. The Captain's seat is a customized center island seat with great storage, drawers and cabinets inside. To the port side of the helm seat is a wet bar with sink, cup/bottle holders, and a new ice maker. The aft deck and helm deck are covered and protected by the underside of fiberglass flybridge. Under the hardtop is a new headliner and built-in speakers for the stereo.
Starting on the flybridge, access to the bridge is up a ladder from the aft deck. The flybridge is a small, sporty bridge with two forward pedestal seats and an aft bridge bench seat. The helm is a full helm with shifters, throttles, Simrad auto pilot, Datamarine depth finder, Raymarine, GPS and Standard Horizon VHF and SAT TV Trac Vision dome. The helm and seats have full canvas covers.
The hull is solid fiberglass with a deep V. The Bertram has dual stations, and her walk-arounds are wide and comfortable. She has high gloss varnished toe rails. A customized bow pulpit was attached to the bow, built by Glass Tech Marine of Miami.
The pulpit has an Ideal 110V windlass with chain and rode with a polished stainless plow anchor. On the bow are dual storage boxes and fender holders. The vessel has a 50-amp shore power cord, and there is an extra 50-amp cord stored in the bow area under the bow seats.
Beneath the water line has been completely peeled and was epoxied, in 2011 and a recent bottom job was completed in February 2019. This work was performed by River Forest a solid reputable boat yard. Kahlenber air horns were recently installed.
On the transom is a bolted-on swim platform with a swim ladder, along with a ladder from the platform to the transom gate on the aft deck.
The vessel comes with spare props and a spare prop shaft.
The engine room is accessed through the carpeted sole in the salon. The
engine room reflects the rest of the vessel, the room is well lit and
very clean. The twin Detroit 8V71TI's are clean, the motors are couples
up to Allison gears with 2:01 ratio. The shaft sizes are 2" with 3 blade
bronze propellers, rudders are bronze and spade type. The 46 Bertram
has a 15.0KW fresh water cooled Onan generator in a sound shield. For
battery chargers we have a Sentry 30 amp charger and a Jefferson 15 amp
for the Onan. The vessel has four Cruise Air AC units located in the
engine room, and she comes with a spare shaft and a spare set on 3 blade
Owners personal belongings - There are a few tools in the engine room, a few items of clothing. The blanket on the sofa stays with the seller.
